"Awesome service! Great communication. Honest and prompt. Saved us thousands of dollars compared to estimate from dealership. Took time to examine our vehicle closely and completed work on it ahead of schedule!"
"Kaufman's auto is absolutely the best auto shop I have ever been to. They are very knowledgeable and prioritize safety while also being are very reasonable with suggestions and are honest. We took both of our cars (Toyota Sienna and Volvo XC60) to Kaufmans for the six years we lived in Bethesda, MD. I recommend Kaufman's to all of my friends in Maryland. We moved out of state recently and I haven't been able to find a similarly excellent auto shop. A few experiences: 1. Kaufman's is honest - I had a foam piece in my Sienna window that that kept dislodging. I went to the dealer and they suggested to replace the foam, which would have cost several hundred dollars. I took it to Kaufman's and they quickly repaired it on site at reasonable cost. 2. Kaufman's makes reasonable suggestions - They keep track of when my tires need rotation and this is based on wear of the tread. This is unlike the dealership who recommends early based on mileage without knowledge of tread wear. 3. Kaufman's prioritizes safety - I needed my tires changed and they recommended slightly higher end tires for better safety, which I appreciate because it's a family car. They have built up a lot of trust over the years so I trust their suggestions. Even after moving out of state, I call for advice and they are helpful and kind. They are the service I miss the most from living in Maryland!"
"Kaufman's is simply the best. Let me start by mentioning that I have deleted all of my "bad" reviews (there's too much negativity in the world already) and have not written a "good" review in years... until today. I feel compelled to share my recent experiences with Kaufman's Auto Clinic because they have been overwhelmingly positive. A few weeks ago, I took my older car to Kaufman's because the ABS light came on, and my regular mechanic said he wouldn't be able to see me for, like, two weeks. Jordan, the owner, (or his son- I'm not sure!) looked into it and told me it was the computer and it'd probably make the most sense if I just got a new car because it'd cost thousands and thousands of dollars to fix, and my car was at the age that things would start falling apart. So I took this under advisement. I asked him if they worked on hybrids because I had been thinking previously about making my next car a hybrid. He explained that hybrids have an additional expense component with the battery that will eventually need to be replaced, and that I could get almost as good mileage with a Honda or a Hyundai. Another piece of great advice! So I bought a used Honda. I had the Honda's tires replaced at Sam's Club and took it back to them to have it aligned. They examined the car and determined that it really didn't need an alignment and sent me home today with all my hard-earned cash still in my pocketbook. I give Kaufman's a zillion stars... they are the epitome of integrity and are super-helpful in giving good advice. Looks like I have a new auto repair shop!"
"I went here because I had multiple coworkers who said they had amazing experiences at Kaufman's. For years I didn't listen until my dealership wanted to charge me over $4K for a head gasket repair after my oil had been leaking. Something didn't seem right so I wanted a second opinion. They looked at it for under 45 minutes. I never initially told them what the dealership said, only that my oil was leaking. He cleaned out the oil filter, drove it around, and said everything looked good. When I asked about the head gasket he said it looked fine, no cracks. I feel scammed by the dealership but now I know I have a trustworthy place to go instead. He was so patient with my questions, which as a young (ish) female with minimal knowlege of car maintenance, is gold. I live over 45 minutes away but I will now always make this drive for that level of service."
"My wife and I take both of our vehicles (Toyota Highlander and Toyota Tacoma) to Kaufman's. They are always friendly, very honest, knowledgeable and don't overcharge for any work they do. Great service at great prices. Can't do any better than that."
