Years ago I was really in a fix, my reg mechanic had just had a stroke and my car had a major problem with the, excuse my description but, oil system thing and evidently it was quite serious. "In all of my years of driving and breaking vehicles, I have never dealt with a shop like this. John and Tom were amazing. Scranton Auto Service is the best in the business. I had an issue with my car, they diagnosed it, sent me text messages with pictures of their progress and full explanations of the problems. That's great for someone like me, who can only do basic auto stuff (changing tires, oil, brakes, etc). I decided that the value of the car wasn't worth the costs of the repairs. Even though I didn't move forward with the repairs, they were still extremely nice, and offered to inspect any prospective cars that I was going to buy. They now have my business for as long as the shop is open. Their transparency and professionalism are unmatched. Are there cheaper shops in the area?
