"Had a flat tire and was using full-size spare. Took the flat tire in to see if it is repairable. Originally scheduled a next day appointment. Talked to Jose and suggested that I could walk-in. There was leak in the tire seal and decided to have the tire replaced; it was done when the tire was delivered the next day"
"Disappointing Experience at Virginia Tire and Auto ** When is it ever cheaper with the BMW Dealer rather than Virginia Tire & Auto!!!! Recently, I visited Virginia Tire and Auto for a brake service estimate on my BMW X5. They quoted an unexpectedly high price of $2,266.87, including an additional $120 for an oil change. Concerned about safety, I agreed to proceed. Seeking a second opinion from the BMW dealership, I discovered they quoted almost half the price at $1,373.56 and confirmed I didn't need an oil change. Upon learning this, I called Virginia Tire & Auto to halt the work. The store manager, Brian, insisted on charging me half the quote since my car was on the lift, creating an uncomfortable situation. Realizing the potential overcharge, I declined their service based on principle. Comparing quotes, it appeared Virginia Tire & Auto was charging double for both front and rear axles, unlike BMW's per-axle pricing. Brian eventually waived the charge but later inquired about the BMW quote amount, suggesting a lack of transparency. As a woman, I felt targeted and taken advantage of by Virginia Tire & Auto, raising concerns about deceptive pricing and potential gender bias. To address this, I believe it's necessary to inform corporate management and warn others about my experience at Virginia Tire & Auto - Ice Rink Plaza, Ashburn VA. While it's unclear if this issue is location-specific or a franchise-wide concern, consumers, especially women, should seek second opinions and explore alternatives when faced with high prices. In conclusion, I won't return to Virginia Tire & Auto and encourage all consumers to be informed and empowered in their automotive service decisions. "Went in to get my tire patched, was told that it was unpatchable and that I needed to order two new tires, with a while alignment which my total came out to approximately $900. I took it to another shop and they were able to patch my tire for $30 and had no problem. This place just wants to take your money instead of actually trying to help their customers."
"Friendly and honest. Fair prices and great service. I always recommend these guys to friends and neighbors. We have 3 cars we take to this Dulles location for oil changes, state inspections and most recently we had some bad valve cover and solenoid that needed changing and they did it same day. They have some great deals on tires so we will definitely have them done there when it’s time."
"I am usually very happy and have no issues when I come here to get my car serviced, but today was different. I showed up 30 minutes before open and was the first one in line for an oil change. Little did I know that because I didn't stand out front of the building in the freezing cold that I wouldn't get my car serviced first?! Even tho I was first one in line, but because some who got there after me was helped by an employee before I was, somehow they get helped first?! This doesn't make any sense at all and I am very dissatisfied with VA tire and auto"
