"This place was really interest. Learned a lot about early aviation, air mail, the Wright brothers, and more. We got to try out the manual mechanics of an early plane and a helicopter. Kids to adults will find good information here. The history is very interesting. Even better than a civil wat battle site."
"Didn’t expect this good quality. Small but has a lot of things to see, definitely $5 admission is worth."
"I recently visited the Aviator Museum with my 20-month-old toddler, who is absolutely fascinated by airplanes, and we had a delightful time! Despite its small size, the museum offered us a wonderful 50-minute escape on a rainy day. It was genuinely engaging for both of us. One of the highlights was the view from the big windows, where we watched small airplanes taking off. This was an exciting spectacle, especially for my little one. The museum has a little store. We picked up a cute helicopter souvenir for just $5, which was a hit with my toddler. Speaking of affordability, the entrance fees are quite reasonable at $5 for adults and $2 for children, making it a cost-effective outing. Highly recommended for families!"
"Aviation history done right. Offers a very satisfying portrayal of past and present aviation milestones. Great place for kids to interact with airplanes and discover first hand the great openness of the blue sky and it's vessels of choice."
"This is the site of "America's First Military Flight School" and is the oldest continuously operating general aviation airport. They have many aircraft on display including a Wright Flyer and the first helicopter to achieve vertical flight in the United States. Many artifacts, pictures, and posters throughout the museum. Also, interactive displays for children. The Wright brothers trained military officers on a government leased 160 acre tract of land here in College Park, Maryland. We were greeted by the museum staff and given a great synopsis of what we would see on our visit. The gift shop is also nice to pick up a souvenir of your historic visit."
