About the Business
Forest Glen Neighborhood Park is a beautiful park located at 2323 Coleridge Drive in Silver Spring, Maryland, United States. This park holds historical significance as it sits across the street from the former home of Daniel Carroll, a prominent figure in American history. The park features accessible play equipment, a basketball court, and picnic tables nestled in a wooded area between Forest Glen Road and the Capital Beltway. The park was acquired by M-NCPPC in 1969.
The property where the park now stands was once the childhood home of Lavinia Margaret Engle, a dedicated advocate for women's rights. Lavinia was involved in the suffrage movement and went on to lead the state's League of Women Voters. She was also the first woman from Montgomery County elected to the Maryland House of Delegates. The Engle home remained in the family until 1967 when it was acquired by M-NCPPC.
For more information on Lavinia Engle and her accomplishments, visitors can explore Montgomery Planning's Historic Preservation Office. Forest Glen Neighborhood Park offers a peaceful retreat with a rich history for visitors to enjoy.

Reviews
"It is a nice small park with playground and a basketball court"
"Great park, but very noisy from the car on 495 just past the park wall. Overall, it is a very pretty park with lots of grass, trees, paved walkways, children's play structures, water fountain, and basketball courts."
"Its clean and paved, also has nice ameneties like picnic tables and a basketball court. Theres nothing thats makes it special in particular, but is secluded enough to be a decent place to relax and exercise peacefully."
"Nice park with lots of space to play basketball, toss a football or play on the newly installed playground. In regards to the latter has two playgrounds one for ages 2-5 and one for 4 and up."
