"Had work done a few times and will definitely Be returning for future service! Great business, Fair prices!, prompt and speedy service!"
"I had a great experience today at Forest Hill automotive. They were able to fit me in the same day right before the holidays. They repaired my car quickly. I look forward to doing business with them in the future!"
"Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever seen from an auto shop. Communication alone, disregard the actual repair, cost me over 230 dollars that they threw of mine in the trash. I told this shop I had a brand new sensor put in my car from a goodyear and the same error codes were still popping up. They said they wanted to put the same sensor in the car again, which is fine, but don’t throw away the brand new part that was just installed if I told you I just paid 230 to have it put in!!! Now I can’t even try to get any money back on it at all from the good year, nor did forest hill automotive say they would throw away my brand new part. My car is still not fixed. I am in disbelief. Edit: took my car to another forest hill automotive in hopes of changing this review and fixing my car but they won’t look at the car either nor even listen to what my experience was like since they talked with the other store and stopped while they were ahead. So much miscommunication I am dumb founded."
"I have been to Forest Hill Automotive many times. Every time they practice customer service in a way seldom seen any more. The little things matter and the consistency in which they address customer concerns, maintain quality of repair, stay focused on attention to details and care about the work they do is next level. Respect is earned. They have it down!"
"Integrity is important to me and while I hoped this automotive repair shop would live up to some of the good reviews that indicated that, I was thoroughly disappointed. The problem is most people are left with taking there word for it because most people’s knowledge of vehicles is very limited. I have had an issue with my battery draining down on my car. It does sit a lot and the battery tends to be dead after sitting longer than two weeks. I thought maybe I have a voltage draw that is draining my battery so I called Forest Hill Automotive and asked if they were good at finding voltage draws that are not obvious. After asking the question there answer was “we can take a look at it” I asked the same question twice and that was my answer both times. So I took a leap of faith and dropped it off. They called me later that day and said they didn’t find anything abnormal in reference to how much the vehicle is drawing when it’s not running. They said my battery was BAD and needed replaced. I replaced that battery less than a year ago so I declined saying my battery will still be under warranty if that’s the case. I went in the next day to pick up the car and pay the $55 for them to “take a look at it” and decided to have them show me the battery is bad. At first he balked and said the report showed it was bad so I asked for the print out from there test equipment and he said they threw it away. After being persistent they had a tech bring the car in and test it. Guess what? The battery report stated the battery is good but needs charging. Makes sense since it sits a lot and something seems to be drawing the battery down. After revealing they are not trustworthy I said I’d like to pay and leave and to expect an honest review from me. At this point the sales counter guy would not let me pay and leave and insisted I have a conversation with the owner (who is the one who checked the battery initially and said the battery is bad) and he continued to explain it away that it was the terminals and a bad battery causes the terminals to corrode if I had a better battery it wouldn’t do that. (Which I’m confident he couldn’t even tell me what brand of battery I have) So to summarize my review: I have a good battery. Not completely sure if I have a separate issue but I’m just going to make sure I drive it more frequently. I didn’t expect them find something but to try and sell me something I don’t need is bad business. I have a battery that I can go to 5 different battery shops and they are going to tell me the battery is good and needs charged. It’s funny that the report said it’s good but they insisted it’s bad. You didn’t expect me to follow up and make you proof out what you said. I hope you will be honest in the future but you will never have my business. Please do your best to explain this away which I’m sure you will. For the record while I insisted on paying they wouldn’t take my money. The owner said no charge and get him on his way. Do better Forest Hill. You’re giving mechanic shops a bad reputation."
