"Customer service has gone downhill. They claim to be professional, but they can't even handle conflict properly. They got rid of the only personable supervisor who would resolve complaints, concerns, and employee problems as soon as they arrived. You'll be lucky to get any kind of customer service outside of the corporate office now. They changed the hourly pay for the cleaners to piecework, so the quality of the homes are depleting as they are being rushed through to get to the next as that is the only way to make the same wage as before. As a Renter, Owner, or Worker, steer clear of this Vacation Rental Agency."

"This company is the absolute worst in customer service. First off that said we could have early checkin since the unit was not rented before us. We arrived early and they said we dont do early check ins despite what was said before. They sent us the wrong entry number and took us hours to get the new one, they couldn’t even find our contract. Blinds were broken, they said they would send someone, never did. No drinking glasses, or pots in the kitchen . Response:you get what you get , Run from this company if they manage the property the unit itself was nice however."

"A very bad experience with Vacasa in Deep Creek Maryland. Not only were we locked outside in 30 degree weather because of 2 faulty keys given to us, we were then told it would be over an hour before anyone could come to help us. The solution, approved by a Vacasa employee was to break down the back door's chain bolt. This, caused us to have no lock on the front door because it was broken, and now an unlocked backdoor - very negligent especially as it applies to our safety. Next, the power went out in our residence, and Vacasa, knowing a storm was coming only brought us two electric lanterns for lighting, and said "Well you should be okay because there are two stove's here" even though we had no fire wood. It would have been easy to drive to get firewood, but the Vacasa employee told us that trees and branches were down on the road and it was unsafe to drive. during this, a car actually broke down in front of our house due to the weather/conditions. Overall, Vacasa does not value customer safety or satisfaction. It is their duty to provide a safe and accommodating residence, and they negligently have not met either of those requirements. Please look elsewhere, or even to local rental companies in Deep Creek instead of using Vacasa."

"Absolutely horrible customer service. My family paid soooo much money for a nice family vacation, which was also hours away from where we live. Vacasa never gave us an address to the location, we had to guess which place was ours based on the pictures provided. It took us HOURS trying to look for the place. It became completely dark outside and it was snowing. They wouldn’t answer any of our messages for the address…. We finally found the place after hours of looking, however, they gave us the wrong security code to get inside. We were locked out of the place. We called them, they finally answered after soooo long of being on hold. They gave us so many different codes and none of them worked. They said they were coming to help us, they NEVER showed up. We waited hours in the freezing cold, hours away from where we live. We lost a day of our vacation. My brother started guessing random combinations of all the codes they gave us and nothing was working. We then tried to use the hot tub code to get inside the house and it worked….. they never showed up, they never even called us back to ask if we got inside. When we got back home we filed a complaint. They kept saying they couldn’t find our reservation. When they ~magically~ found it weeks after going back and fourth with them, their only response was “we will let our team know to do better next time” …. PLEASE do NOT book through them. "Do not rent from this company!!! They are horrible to work with. We had a place booked and because of COVID-19 they told us they would have to cancel. However they told us less then seven days before our trip so they said they could not provide a full refund and only could give us travel credits. Since this was a one time trip with our friends we did not want travel credits. After speaking with them on a recorded line, they informed us they would provide us a full refund on our credit card. The refund has never came and we have had to contact them back multiple times still with no luck. They will lie to you and take your money. Horrible business practice. You cannot trust this company! As someone that travels a lot, I have never experienced a worse rental company!"
