"We loved the Fruit Bowl in Cumberland but it closed. It's my understanding that all 3 of their locations will be closing at some point. I truly hope that's not the case. You don't want to miss this amazing Candyland of a store. This was our first time visiting the Oakland store- it was identical to the Fruit Bowl. Great selection of produce and grocery items. Our favorite is the candy section which takes up half the store. You can find any and all types of candy.. even older, harder to find brands of candy. You can buy in bulk or prepackaged containers. Prices are great! They also have a great baking section for making cakes, your own candy, or other baking needs. This place is great for the whole family. I even saw a sign that says they take EBT cards. If you're visiting Oakland, you don't want to miss this special little store."

"We discovered this great place by accident while passing through the area. We found it to be charming with a retro atmosphere. We enjoyed all the varieties of candy & The opportunity to choose whatever we wanted and however many pieces we wanted. My only disappointment was that the teaberry gum was sold out!"
