"Wow River Mountain totally rocks! What a fun place for getaway from the city or a retreat with friends! My fiancé and I stopped here along a drive up the east coast, very last minute due to bad weather, and it is a top wedding venue choice we wanted to explore. First off—the staff were SO accommodating for our last minute stay. They put us up with no hesitation, very welcoming, and gave us a good rate. Ryan was so friendly and welcoming. Also, Landon has really plowed the driveway and parking so we could get through safely in the snow. Thank you both!! The lodge (ALL of the accommodations, which we toured) are pristine and beautiful but not devoid of character—they’re comfortable and warm. Our dog Mooney could run around the property and had a great time exploring the snow. We bought a bottle of homemade honey mead and chilled in the hot tub. It was, frankly, idyllic. We’re both excited at the prospect of a wedding here, and if not, bringing back friends for a fun weekend retreat in any season. We had the best and easiest time. "I went to River Mountain for my birthday and cannot say enough great things about the place! Everyone that works there is soo kind and friendly, they are truly so welcoming. We had the best time hiking, making smores, lounging in the hot springs tub, doing yoga etc! You will not run out of things to do if you come here. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable, we stayed in a cabin room in the main lodge. Darci is the best and her beekeeping experience and honey tasting was amazing. I could keep going on and on forever but we can't wait to come back!"

"Can't say enough about how much I loved River Mountain. I was there for a week long retreat and stayed in the Main Lodge. Clean and comfortable. Abundant towels in the shower room. Great shower with lots of hot water. It's the food that was the BEST! WOW!!! Delicious and varied 3 times per day. I loved every meal. The staff went over and above to take care of our group!"
