"Heard a lot of good things about this place. Was pretty excited. Unfortunately, the experience didn't meet the hype. We got a sample platter but it was very small and the fried items were soaked in grease and had no crispness. The 4 wings we got with it was the best. The main food we got was sub oar as well. So local hangout is what I personally think of this one."
"Great people, place, and usually food. I understand you can get unlucky one meal, however, to be serving the public food all safety precautions should be applied 100% of the time. No excuses. I ate a hamburger last night there, it tasted good enough as usual to eat. However, I noticed a taste of was slightly off but maybe it was just because it lost its warmth by the time we got it home. Nope. I’m not sure how it was prepared but that burger had my stomach doing flips all night long, sweating, turning. Eventually it was time to wake up and go to work, went to put my pants on and vomit what looked to be the sauce dripping off the burger. I missed 2 hours of work cleaning my carpet and myself off. Again, this is the first time I’ve had this experience ever let alone bud murphys and I think regardless of high demands, or any circumstance you should not serve food that is not safe for consumption. Just warn everyone to pay close attention to your burgers."
"Quit eating there over a year ago, take out only, food was either bad or unedible. Was inside a week ago after a funeral for a wake. Waiter was very stressed, food seemed like it was different and good, decided to try to go in today and eat for the first time in years. Tried to find a seat in the bar, half the tables were empty but not cleared. Went into the dining room and only two tables had people. Waiter seem very stressed, got half of our food and then the rest an hour later! Never asked if we wanted refills or checked on us! Other people tried to sit down and the waiter would come to them and say "I have no idea when I'll get to you." If a waiter can't wait on more than 3 tables, or they have her doing other jobs that she can't wait on tables, they should have closed the dining room. The management and the owner must not really care about this business anymore! The pizza there at one time may have been world famous, it definitely is not anymore! And if they are having staffing problems, why wouldn't people want to work at a World Famous Pizza place! Will not ever be going back, many people say the same thing, so sad for once a world famous place!"
"Glad we stopped here, great food, great service, great prices. Will stop again to try the pizza"
"My friends and I came for dinner around 8:30PM. This was my first time here and I found it interesting that we had to find our own table. We walked through the restaurant to find available seating. Since it was busy, it did take longer than usual to receive our food. However, our waitress was great. She came and took our orders right away. She made sure to check in and provide refills on our drinks. There was a $2 special for margaritas. I ordered the watermelon margarita but I was disappointed because it tasted like grapefruit. My friends also ordered the same drink and said it tasted like strawberry or medicine. When we ordered our second rounds, the drinks actually tasted like watermelon. But the inconsistency of the flavor of the drinks were disappointing. Everyone ordered different items. I had the “THE PITTSBURGHER" ...$7.95 Philly Steak Fries, Vinegar Slaw Piled High on Italian Bread. The steak had no flavor, thankfully the vinegar slaw helped it a bit. Fries tasted cold. I ordered onion rings and I’m happy they came out hot and fresh. My friend ordered the chicken basket and they said they didn’t have any and there was no pizza. Lots of items weren’t available and our waitress said they shouldn’t even be on the menu. Overall, it was your typical bar food. Nothing exceptional but it hit the spot. Free parking available."
