"CAUTION: I just had a state inspection and oil change on my 2011 Coachmen Motorhome today at Erie Truck and Trailer. (The only repair was to a backup light) I’ve had the same service performed in Florida and at the dealer’s in Delmont, PA over the last 3 years and was never charged more than $350. THIS was $722, the most expensive routine inspection and oil change service I’ve ever had, including on any of my Mercedes! When I asked why such a high bill the mechanic Paul said: “you didn’t ask what it cost when I brought it in!” Over their front service counter their sign reads: PA inspection $100 !! . I asked for an oil filter change and state inspection PERIOD! I feel I was mislead and grossly over-charged. Yes, I reluctantly paid the bill and left. So, if you use these guys BEWARE and ask first. On the way home , my hydraulic unit burnt out and I limped back to my farm in Cambridge Springs smoking. Unrelated, maybe? Worked fine before taking in there.
