"Not really sure if this is increasingly a problem in general in medicine, or if Family Health Center in particular is the guilty party, but communication is just absolutely abysmal. If you want to pay a bill, you get excellent service, but if you want to verify treatment plan, verify appointment type, verify preventative services, etc., you will likely get the wrong answer. Several times in the last few months after explicitly confirming, multiple times, what kinds of appointment, and what kinds of treatment to be given at the appointment, come to find that at the actual appointment something else entirely was happening. I get that everything is more complicated right now, really, but the answer "I don't know, let me check" seems unbelievably appropriate instead of repeatedly providing the wrong information. Medicine in general might benefit from it, but it's definitely been a problem here specifically recently. Unfortunately there aren't many good options in the area, especially on a budget. Costs have skyrocketed, and unless you have a Cadillac insurance plan, expect to pay them. From Family Health Ceneter, specifically, double check referrals, as they may lead to significantly higher costs without comparative shopping. Perhaps that's not really their fault, but as the referrer with explicit access to my insurance information, I can't help but hold them responsible. In any case, this seems like industry standard service at this point, which garners an industry average rating. I cannot recommend, but I don't have anything better to recommend either."
