"Poor customer service. Went last week to return games and they were closed during normal business hours. Went today, they were open and I was a day late on the return policy. 2 stars because I’ll own part of the blame here — I should have paid more attention to the return policy but the games were bought there and were unopened… tried to give me trade in value for a game that would have been returned last week if they worked the hours that are posted on the door…"

"Not much here. I look at the Funkos and some games but it's still mediocre. Staff is friendly enough and helpful but it's just the company itself that has gone downhill the last several years."

"Crooks! Theiveing low life's only gave me $19 for my perfectly working Nintendo switch, just because it was missing the straps for the joy con's, overall never shopping at any gamestop ever again since they wanna CHARGE you for missing hardware. Class action lawsuit needs to happen cause this is straight up robbery. They have no idea how long people spend saving up $300-400 for a console and turn around only give you $19. Worse video game selling company ever! No compassion for the buyer what so ever."

"EDIT: I went to the GameStop in Williston and they were INCREDIBLY helpful, and let me use my credit. Go there. TL; DR DO NOT SIGN UP FOR PRO! I went to the store to buy Pokemon cards, and was (stupidly) convinced to sign up for GameStop Pro on the 15th. I was told I would get a $10 credit within 48 hours, then a $5 credit each month. Unfortunately, after receiving the activation email and trying to set up my account, I never received the verification email after multiple attempts, so I called the store (Monday the 21st) and they said to call back when the manager was in on Friday. Today (25th) I called the manager and she said whether or not I could get into my account I could use the $10 credit in store! So, I went to the store. When I was there, I tried to get two booster packs and was told I couldn't use the entire $10, only $5, after asking others that worked there, the manager told me it was for one item only, which wasn't clear when I signed up... that's on me. They said they couldn't help us with the credit, so we should try online, but they also couldn't help me access my account. I went home and called GameStop's helpline - after talking with one person who wasn't able to help, I was transferred to their manager. Their manager (Hendrick) said we had to contact the store itself for a refund or access to the account. Eventually I put them on calls with one another and they kept sending me back and forth to each of them. DO NOT sign up for Pro. You will lose money."

"Disappointed.. bought a “new” Xbox controller from here to only open the box without the included batteries (as noted on the box) and a dirty back plate for the batteries. I’m not sure if it’s dirt or food and it doesn’t even look like it belongs to the controller. I won’t be back."
