"I had two back surgeries in August. One involving a titanium rod placed in my spinal column. I knew I would have to have rehabilitation afterwards. I was told that it would involve three hours of therapy a day, I thought how am I going to be able to do this, but each day they worked with me and each day I became stronger. The staff are great. "I do not recommend anyone send their loved ones here! The nurses they have running the floors back and fourth to patients. Are very slow. Rude. And extremely lazy. My dad is a very kind man. He never really has come across conflict in his life. Gets along with everyone. Andhe was left numerous times sitting in his wheelchair. Cause he wasn't allowed to be mobile on his own. He waited hours to get help in n out of shower.and cause they were so slow he missed 2 or three yuy breakfasts just sittq"

"On May 13th, 2023 I broke my hip. After my hospital Stay @ WDH I requested to be transferred to Encompass Rehab Facility. I had broken my leg in 2019 and based on my positive stay then felt confident that I would receive the same care now. I was so right. The OT and PT staff are outstanding! Noone wishes to go to a rehabilitation facility after suffering any kind of major trauma. However it is a necessary and vital process in healing and maintaining your independence. I could not wish for better care. Each and every person who has helped me progress in walking and strengthening my muscles has been so knowledgeable and so very caring. They want you to get better so you can go back to your life. When I fell and broke my hip the surgery was tricky as I had injured my pelvis as well. I had spent 15 hours on the floor before receiving help which complicated my injuries further. So this has not been an easy recovery. That is what makes Encompass Health so vital in my progression. The OT and PT I have received has been so productive, so wonderfully compassionate that I will be able to return home as early as June 6. That is a miraculous feat in my opinion. For anyone that has suffered a stroke, or any other traumatic event I highly recommend Encompass Health for not only the injured but their families as well. I guarantee that you will receive positive results along with much needed caring and compassion. While staying at the facility you will receive excellent care from the nursing staff and provided with meals from a great Kitchen Staff who will work with you should you have special needs or requests."

"From the moment I arrived at the facility the staff was extremly accomodating. The nurses who have a tough job are very pleasant and accomodating. The nursing staff Marie,Dave,Sonya,Linda,Jen,Joe from respitory,and others were fantastic. Dave in rehab as well as Ashley and Gretchen,were the best.Dr Collins was very thorough and kind,a true credit to his profession. I am sorry if I missed anyone else who helped me. Kate my case worker was a gem and extremly helpful, and was in constant contact with my family, updating them throughout my stay.
