"The dentist ( Dr. Achong) and assistants were very friendly with myself and my son (4, high energy) and answered any questions I had. That being said, I did NOT have that experience with the surgical coordinator. I was talked to in a very condescending way for having to schedule a month further out than the doctor “recommended” and made to feel like it was going to affect him negatively. They seriously need to work on their bedside manner, especially because surgery and anesthesia are a MUCH bigger deal than a cleaning."
"Dr Hinton is so knowledgeable and kind. I was able to get in so quickly to have my newborn evaluated for tongue ties. She listened to my concerns and walked me through everything they did. I highly recommend!"
"This practice is wonderful! The staff is fantastic. The hygienists and doctors are all excellent with young children and really make the effort to engage with them on their level. I liked how they had nicknames for all of their tools (i.e. the water sucking thing they called "Mr. Thirsty") which my son enjoyed. The only reason I gave four instead of five stars was the check-in process is a bit cumbersome. Every time I come in, I'm asked to fill out a paper form with all of our information. I understand this for the first visit, but it's a bit annoying to have to do it every time. On top of that, I'm asked to bring the form with us into the exam room. The hygienist then asks me questions that I've already answered on the form, which begs the question, why even have me fill it out if I'm going to be asked verbally anyway? Overall I'm very happy we found this place for our children!"
"I can't recommend this practice enough. We had a truly remarkable experience. I was nervous because it was my son's first dental visit ever. It's so challenging to find doctors/specialists who are willing to work with kids with special needs and that truly have the patience to do so. The staff were all so friendly and handled my son so deftly, I was truly dumbstruck. It made me emotional to see what a smooth and, yes, even pleasant experience going to the dentist can. be. The hygienist was amazing -- she took her time talking my son through everything so that he'd be at ease and was happy to listen to all our concerns while also explaining thoroughly what we could expect for his sedated dentistry. The nurse anesthetist was also very informative and patient. We didn't feel rushed at any point. I will be referring all my friends to them. To all the staff, thank you so much for making my son feel seen."
"I have used this office for both of our young kids from their very first visit at 1 and every appointment since then. I am thankful for the experience all of the staff have with children and it is clear that they know just how to help them be comfortable through every step. I want to mention Michelle from our most recent visit because she interacted and cared for my kids exactly how I would have down to every little explanation and manneurism. She was exceptional while talking them through their bravery and patience, pointing out the toothbrushes and tools needed, all while they wiggled and asked their questions. Just another reason to keep going back - the staff can be trusted and admired during their interactions with our children. They make a routine check up feel professsional and personal all at the same time."
