"Not recommended! After arriving to a scheduled Appointment w/ Cher Krupnick I was notified that my Therapy was being Terminated and that this decision was made only after consulting it w/ her Piers. They came to the conclusion that I reached the amount of treatment she could provide to me at that time. Having been mandated to attend counseling in 2018 and after more than 1-1/2 years of a near spotless attendance it was the last two prior sessions leaving both of us at odds over wether I was receiving treatment by her as a LADAC or as a Mental Health counselor. Cher neglected to even try contacting the individual who mandated I see her and instead, after not receiving a return call from my Doctor decided to make this decision specifically noting that she couldn’t do her job if my doctor wasn’t willing to return her call and that it would be a huge hassle if others were not willing to communicate. (My PC/Doctor was not the individual who mandated I see her) It’s Sad to admit that this Cher Krupnik was one of the most beneficial people to have helped me and that she w/o doubt changed who I am today. I went from strongly disagreeing w/ counseling and refusing to attend it my whole life to recommending her to several people 1 of which followed up. It sucks that she is responsible for getting me through undoubtedly the hardest time in my life and becoming a person I felt I gave my All too, a person I trusted and did not feel the need to lie too, about anything. At this time She has done far more damage to me than she had done good and certainly reminded me of why I hated counseling in general. I found myself wrestling w/ posting a review at all having only wanted to destroy the reputation of this Cher Krupnik who, for all I can tell, only listened to me for the money and Puked me out like the rest but after taking some time to think and calm down swaying away from the suicidal thoughts and self medicating I believe telling the truth was better than not at all. I am in search of another Mental Heath Counselor, unfortunately especially as Cher knows given our last two sessions and our text messages discussing the urgent need for extra sessions, I’m not in the best place in my life right now. It’s unfortunate having been given no notice or insight into why my treatment was being terminated other than a lie at best. For anyone who has trust issues or only has insurance and can not afford to spit hundreds out for a glimmer of hope, Cher Krupnik is not your counselor. If your the person who has hundreds to throw at others to have them listen, this is your professional. I hope I am able to help others make the right decision when searching for that person they hope to confide in, I pray that others do not experience what happened to me, that she be more open + forthcoming and at minimum figure out the next steps. I hope my experience is a once in a career mistake if at all."
