"I do not recommend Dr. Freed if you are seeking a breast reduction. He is not forthright about using the BMI exclusionary criteria. Dr. Freed had my weight and height prior to examining me, and he could have shared the BMI policy before that exam so I had the right to choose whether I was measured or not. I had even called the office prior to my visit and let them know I had sensory sensitivities, specifically around being touch. After being handed a two page document about the Department's BMI policy, I told Dr. Freed he should let people know about this before their appointment. (My PCP had checked twice to see if BMI was a requirement) He said he withholds this information on purpose to get people into the office. To me this is unethical and precluded consent. Dr. Freed has every right to deny surgery based on he professional standards, but he should inform patients before physically examining them. Dr. Freed violated me and took away my choice to be examined when he did not disclose all of his criteria to get surgery."
"Dr. Freed has failed to report 5th or 6th post surgical hospital related antibiotic resistant infection which he is required to do by law pre pandemic. SAFE TO ASSUME THIS IS IN DIRECT VIOLATION COVID 19 protocol. I NOTICED CDC"
"I have no sense of how Dr. Freed is with his nurses, but I can say he is a gifted surgeon. I had a breast reduction done and the outcome was beautiful. It is everything I dreamed of! He had a great bedside manner with me, and answered all of my questions. Very pleased all around, and definitely recommend!"
"Very unprofessional. I was emotional, as my situation is emotional- and I have been trying to quit cigarettes, so I was also in nicotine withdrawal and more emotional. Instead of being professional and understanding, he attempted to keep me there against my will, when I was there for a simple consult. His Nurse and LNA restrained me on the gurneys and would not put the rail down and give me my wheelchair, I'm a paraplegic- so I could NOT leave. **So I went for a consult, and was unlawfully and most importantly caused me more physical pain and emotional distress (against my will & restrained,) and they kept my wheelchair from me, until I threatened a law suit and reporting them to the state board. They made me sit on a painful wound on the gurney and prevented me from getting on my wheelchair and a proper surface, when I was no threat to anyone. I would never reccomend this dr or anyone on his staff that believes this was ok. It was not okay and I will be reporting every single person involved to the state. This is a terrible practice. Unprofessional conduct and unlawful restraint .Terrible experience. I left one star because you cant leave a review with none."
"Very rude to everyone including his own nurses. Found him to be very impersonal. Took him 2-3 weeks to respond to questions which needed to be answered right away. I would never recommend him to anyone in the future."
