He quickly came over as soon as we returned and removed the damaged awning and manually closed and secured the frame so we could get it home safely. "I purchased a six year old travel trailer last Spring. I fell in love with it despite the fact that I knew there were some issues that would need to be repaired. I however, did not feel comfortable DIY-ing the level of work that was needed. Initially, I brought it to a local repair shop; and I was charged and exorbitant amount of money for an assessment, was given very bad recommendations and I left with nothing being repaired and feeling like I had just been robbed. I discovered 518 Mobile RV Repair soon after; and my luck changed dramatically. Since I was settled into a seasonal campsite, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the team at 518 Mobile RV Repair would be able to diagnose the problems with my travel trailer and make most of the needed repairs on-site at my campground. The most complicated repair was replacing half of the flooring due to extreme water damage. This project was too complicated to undertake on-site. So, at the end of last season, I brought my travel trailer to their service center where they needed to remove all of the fixtures in the bedroom and bathroom, remove the old flooring and damaged sub flooring, repair the sub flooring, lay the beautiful new flooring and then reinstall the fixtures in the bedroom and bathroom. During the repair process, they discovered other more minor issues, and they went above and beyond to ensure everything was in tip-top shape. I could not be happier with the amazing quality of their work, reasonable rates, willingness to deal with the red tape with my extended warranty provider all while providing an exceptionally high level of customer service. The next project they will be working on will be on-site installation of custom awnings for my three slide-outs to help keep water and debris from causing damage. They also winterize my travel trailer in the Fall; as well as getting it ready for Spring camping all on-site at my campground. I cannot recommend 518 Mobile RV Repair enough. "I don't recommend these guys. I think it's run by a kid who doesn't really know a lot about business. For starters they're going to charge you $150.00 or more just to DRIVE to your place to tell you what's wrong (Less than 25 miles). Now that's just excessive. Before they come out, they even send you an invoice and tell you it has to be paid before they see your problem. They tell you their guy is paid $100 an hour, but, if he's there for 5 minutes it's $100, if he's there for an hour and 5 minutes? They charge $200. AND.....he likes to stand around and talk A LOT while he's getting paid. Sorry, but if I get paid $100 an hour and I come in to work for just 10 minutes and leave, I don't get paid $100. The secretary that sets your appointment doesn't know anything, she can't answer questions and after speaking with her I don't think she's even in NY. A few days after they come out, you get another email telling you what they would charge to fix your issue (and trust me, it's going to be A LOT). And that's going to cost another $150 just to drive to your place. Considering that they charge so much, I'm shocked they don't say "Since you're using us for the repair we'll deduct the $250 you already paid us." Not doing that is just really poor business practice. There's plenty of local handymen that can do the work at a fraction of what these people charge, I'd recommend going that route."

"518 RV Repair closed the camper last season and recently opened it for this season, as well as checking electrical and gas side issues. Mike and Jim have been a pleasure to deal with, answer questions and respond in a timely manner. They need to come back to take care of a few issues but they got the camper up and running at a reasonable price. Highly recommend 518 RV Repair!"
