"I've been taking saxophone lessons at the Dojo with Matt Davide for about 2 months. I've been playing guitar for years and wanted to add sax because I like its sound and I thought a more formal instrument study would also help me with my guitar playing (mostly self-taught on guitar). The experience has been fantastic. Matt is exceptionally knowledgable as a teacher, always has wonderful positive energy around him, is very responsive to my interests and learning edges, all while leading me down a well-grounded and accessible path through music theory. Top notch experience!"
"I have been taking guitar lessons with Franky Andreas for about a year ago. Its been a fantastic experience all the way around. He's helped me understand theory and fretboard dynamics in new and useful ways. He's placed these lessons in a wide range of contexts that make them easy to understand - slide guitar, blues, hard rock, etc. He has an engaging and curious approach to life that comes through in the way he teaches and encourages me to keep pushing ahead. All of this has made me a more complete musician and a better and more confident guitar player in a very short period of time. Finally, he's easy to reach and very flexible with scheduling. Can't recommend him highly enough."
"I’ve been taking bass lessons with Aram at Burlington Music Dojo for the last year and am really pleased with the progress I’ve made. His lessons are a good balance of the necessary fundamentals/technique with the development of sound and feel that works for you and the music you are most interested in. Aram is immensely talented and an entirely down-to-earth and approachable guy. And he has no shortage of creative ways to keep practices interesting. All that, and the studio is easy to get to and comfortable to play in. Groovy!"
"I've been taking lessons with Franky Andreas for about five years and I've learned so much. I've learned about modes, chord inversions, and arpeggios as well as how to read music and rhythm and voice leading. The best thing that I've gained from Franky is feeling comfortable improvising over the many types of music that we've covered. I feel like I still have so much more I can learn from Franky. The Burlington Music Dojo is a great facility and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn to sing or play an instrument."
"We love going to The Burlington Music Dojo! My daughter takes guitar lessons from Aram and it's a highlight of the week. He tailors the class to keep it interesting and works with her to pick out songs she's interested in playing, but aren't too hard or too easy. Because of this, she has progressed steadily, and painlessly! He has a fun, easy demeanor and really knows his craft. Would highly recommend."
