"Between our two children we've been going to BCS for 5 years. The care my children get is wonderful. It's not just day care. It's really a school where they put a lot of thought into the development of the kids, educationally and socio-emotionally. I've always said my kids being there really takes the pressure off of parenting, because I know they are learning everything they need to, including how to be good citizens in the world. My daughter went to Kindergarten this year and I felt good knowing preschool at BCS had prepared her. My kids have always loved their teachers, and their teachers clearly love them. What more could I want?"

"I worked here as a substitute teacher for 8 years and loved every minute of it. The staff are like family to me and all of the wonderful teachers here taught me so much over the years. BCS is a special place because they serve a diverse community and foster learning and growth for children coming from a wide variety of backgrounds. "I am a student teacher placed at BCS, I've had an amazing experience! The teachers I've worked with have been very intentional in their curriculum planning. There is a strong sense of community at the center between teachers and with families. The teachers "loop" with the children from infancy-toddlers. Children are able to build strong relationships with the teachers in the room and their peers. Even when the children move to the pre-k, they can still visit the teachers they had for years when they are younger. This has helped many children feel supported in the transition from the older toddler room to the pre-school. The teachers are warm and caring. In my experience, the teachers are consistently going to professional development to better their practice. I would definitely recommend BCS!!"

"BCS is such a special place! I have worked here for over 10 years and my experience as both a teacher and advocate for children has been overwhelmingly positive. The passion and experiences we offer to children express so much openness to process and discovery. We work really hard to collaborate with families to meet the needs of their children, while also creating respectful and responsive relationships with them. "We are a BCS family and have been so happy with the care they provide. The teachers are so warm and really know their stuff. We’ve learned a lot from them that we take home with us! Our baby clearly loves the creative, sensory activities they plan for the class each day. Just as important is that naptimes seem to go really well, so we have a well-rested baby by the afternoon. We appreciate the open and frequent communication both from the teachers and other BCS staff. BCS offers tuition on an income-scale which reflects their commitment to serving all families. We love that there is a cook on the staff who prepares healthy meals and engages the older children in preparing them. BCS has a wonderful community feel - I highly recommend it!"
