"No A/C and the stairs are in terrible positions. My room didn't even have chairs when I moved in. It's known as the "Relic" for a reason, and was an isolation house during covid. Coming back after the worst of the pandemic, the house still had mask regulations up, having been untouched"

"The five star review makes no sense for North house, so heres an honest one. North House is by far the worst housing option for Champlain College. Not only is it 6 blocks away from campus, there is also no shuttle to get you back and forth (like there is for 194, which is closer to campus by the way). There are two bathrooms to share with 20 or so people, so you can guarantee that when you have to go, there will likely be someone using it already. The washing machines are coin operated and are conviently located ON THE 2ND FLOOR NEXT TO THE MAJORITY OF ROOMS. This wouldn't be a problem if the washing machine didn't smack against the wall repeatedly for 45 minutes every load (it really sounds like someone tossed a brick in there). So this 2019 the dorm was "upgraded" to be an upperclassmen dorm, except no renovations were done, and it's the same disgusting garbage house that it was before."
