My counterpart found another vendor, so I thanked him for the aggressive quote and said we would keep him in mind for the future (because I thought it was super competitive...thought I was being courteous by responding). This is how Jeffrey Griffin (CEO) responded: "Aggressive is business. You trying to screw the business man by saving money is absurd. The guy your business partner reached out to came to me looking for extra equipment so I would be selective who you book with. I’m booked solid all summer and tire kickers like you are why we set our prices firm. We don’t need the money. Business is business I’m booked solid. I get people like you who don’t like the pricing and that just means I’m not the company for you. Now I have a full schedule of equipment to get ready. Thanks for your time.
