"It’s been a while since I stayed at a BNB, my boyfriend and I were the only ones staying at the inn during the time we went, and boy did the husband and wife deliver service! Gave us all the good places in town! Lovely conversations, great breakfast! The view is spectacular! They are a pair, as well as the husband and wife are the only staff there but it’s amazing what they do!"

"When we booked a room at the High Hill Inn, we expected a small, typical bed and breakfast. The Inn was so much more than that. We were first welcomed by all of the friendly animals that live outside the house - goats, cats, you name it. We then were showed by Anne, who was so helpful throughout the booking process and stay, to our room. The balcony had a stunning view of the Vermont mountains and foliage. The room was lovely and a great bang for your buck. What stood out the most was the hospitality. Anne made us a delicious breakfast that I definitely recommend for a true Vermont experience. She was so kind and helpful in making recommendations about things to do locally in vermont. We could not rave more about the High Hill Inn and will definitely be coming back next time we are in Vermont!"

"Booked the king size room for the weekend and Im glad we did. The room was excellent. Beautifully decorated, big, very clean and with a great view all around. The owners are very friendly and made sure we were comfortable and made us feel welcome. Will definitely boom again when we come back to visit Vermont."

"A gorgeous, quiet, and peaceful place. My wife and I had an awesome time. The host was incredibly nice and was able to accomodate a vegan breakfast, which was a huge plus. Honestly the best bed & breakfast I've ever stayed at. If we come to Montpelier again we'd definitely come here again. Thanks for the tip about the healthy food store beside Trader Joe's, it was great!"

"My boyfriend and I travelled from Western NY to explore Montpelier, and ended our day at the High Hill Inn. Ann-Marie and Joe were exceptional hosts. From greeting us upon our arrival, to making sure we were comfortable throughout the stay, to hosting us for an impeccable breakfast in the morning, everything was perfect. We stayed in the 3rd floor bedroom/suite that provided more than enough room and was extremely cozy at the same time. My boyfriend and I spent the evening watching animals roam throughout the property (deer, wild turkeys, fox) as we enjoyed the sunset from our 3rd floor private balcony. The stay was beautiful. In the morning we gathered in the downstairs kitchen & dining area and enjoyed a delicious organic breakfast prepared by Joe, and chatted with our hosts about the Montpelier area and the surrounding towns. Ann-Marie and Joe provided a beautiful stay and experience for our first visit to Vermont. On our way out, we made sure to say hello to the barn cat, two-toes, and the lovely goats kept on property. We cannot wait to book again!"
