"I went to Vermont for a solo trip and I was looking for a small, cozy inn to stay at. I was lucky that Heart of the Village was one of the most quaint inns nearby and they were available after October 31st, since some businesses in the area close for the season. I cannot say enough good things about my stay. I appreciated the detailed instructions when I booked, the welcome email with all the information about my stay (with step by step pictures!) and the homemade breakfasts were amazing. Highly recommend the crab cake Benedict with a side of bacon. The room was clean, efficient and temperature was easily controlled. And it is very close to lots of cute shops and restaurants. The inn keepers were very friendly and professional. I will absolutely recommend Heart of the Village Inn to anyone visiting the area and I will return myself if I travel back to the area!"

"We recently spent several days in Shelburne, Vermont and stayed at the Heart of the Village Bed and Breakfast Inn. The area is lovely, the Shelburne Museum a treasure, the location is convenient to many sights and activities, and the local restaurants are excellent. The best part of our visit, however, was the Heart of the Village Bed and Breakfast. What a wonderful place to stay! The house is a restored Victorian, beautifully appointed, with much attention to detail. The innkeepers, Rose and Anatoly, welcomed us into their home the first day, and by the time we left, we felt like we were part of the family. Extraordinary hospitality! The rooms are immaculately clean, the beds very comfortable, with everything you might need during your stay, right down to the flashlight in the bedside table. The highlight of the stay was the amazing breakfast each day. You choose from a varied menu (including vegan options), all expertly prepared and served to you in the beautiful dining room. The bonus was the engaging, interesting and witty conversation with Rose and Anatoly. If you want a place where you can feel like you are coming home after a long day of touring or sightseeing, the Heart of the Village Bed and Breakfast is the place to stay.
