"Stopped into this place for lunch after discovering it on Google Maps. Happy to support new local business and a fan of carribean food! They were out of some things, which caused some shuffling when time to order, and in the end we ended up with Chicken Tostones, Pork Tostones, a 'Small Plate' with pork (pork, cabbage salad, and rice and beans), and beef empanadas. No complaints on the food. My Pork Tostones were excellent and I highly recommend! Tasty, fresh ingredients. Very filling portion as well. The empanadas themselves were quite good and chimichurri sauce with them was average. Bright tropical feel inside and friendly service. We waited a long time for the food and between being waited on, so that's about all that bumps this from five stars to four."
