"Every time I go there I hear a lot of racial slurs and homophobic comments from the manager, the store is filthy and check the dates on everything you buy, because alot of their stuff is outdated"
"Heady Topper is sold here for cheaper than Craft Beer Cellar. But not as cheap as the brewery."
"I live right around the corner from this place, and due to that, I am there pretty often. I've gotten to know the manager pretty well, and some of the employees. I've never had a single problem there, and find the place clean and orderly. Plus they always have a really good selection of Ben & Jerry's in stock for the same price as the market! Friendly people, nice gas station with a pretty decent selection of delicious junk food."
"This place is convenient and reasonably priced. However, three nights ago, I encountered an example of what I have been seeing on and off in there for a few months. The cashier (who I will not name) had (as always) her mask on in such a way that her nose was completely exposed. She also had her dog running loose in the store, and had a personal visitor hanging out behind the counter (with no shoes or socks). On top of this I had to wait while she finished socializing with someone away from the register. It's not always like this here, but I do see it fairly frequently. Bare feet, improper masking, non personnel lounging behind the counter. Three strikes. You're out."
"Tonight I stopped at the store in Waterbury to get gas. I went inside and gave the attendant a $10 bill. I told him that I wanted to put that amount in my car. At that time, he was having a conversation with a young woman at the counter. I went out to the gas pumps, choose my type and went to add the gas; however, the pump did not engage. I went to the window to signal that there was a problem and he turned around and with a very fierce look on his face, screamed "I'm doing it!" q I stop in in the morning at this store frequently, but am not sure if I will continue to use the store and will certainly not use it if he is in the store. I was the front end supervisor at Price Chopper and I would never allow a cashier to be that rude to a customer. I was shocked and a bit upset that he would choose that action. Thank you for reading this"
