"I am writing to today to express my dismay, displeasure or anger on how I have been treated since Northpoint took over property management for Solar Village, located in Belmont NH. I receive a notice that I had not paid ANY of my dues for 2022. I promptly, on 9/7, submitted an email to support@northpoint, including copies of the cancelled checks for Q1, Q2 and Q3. We were not into Q4 yet so payment had not been made. I waited a few days and called on 9/13 and was told my email was not received. Then I was told, “oh, here it is”…but sorry, we can’t talk to you as this has gone to the lawyers…Hmmm…so there is no way for a customer service person to validate they can see the cancelled checks I’ve sent them and then offer to contact the lawyer on my behalf (Matthew Johnson). Nope…nothing other than I can’t help you. The ladies I spoke with on numerous occasions were simply doing their job and I understand that. I have no issues how they handled my call, and I was heated a few times but tried to laugh about it as well, and one of them (Anna I believe) was very empathetic. It was all I was asking at that point – just someone to be my advocate and though she couldn’t help me – she at least let me know what she could or could not do in her position. Now keep in mind, I’m also getting collection notices through this period and had to call the lawyers office a few times to receive a call back. I understand that customer service folks can’t provide additional info (or possibly even access) once someone has gone to collections, which I why I want to reiterate my issue is not with any of the front line folks I spoke with. For an organization to not have any recourse for a customer service individual to escalate to management is absolutely ridiculous. I have wasted so much time covering my bases for something that WASN’T MY ISSUE – IT WAS A BOOK KEEPING ISSUE. Why wouldn’t someone from Northpoint reach out to me before even going to collections??? I’d like to understand that process. Here are just some of the dates and times I have reached out – once again, not ONE call back from Northpoint management to work with me on this. I’m pretty sure I had made calls in Oct/Nov but I’ve already spent too much time backtracking all my efforts. Emails: 9/7. 9/13, 12/12 & 12/20 Calls: 9/13, 12/12, 12/20, 12/20(Lawyer), 12/21, 12/28 (Lawyer), 1/3 (Lawyer). the 1 star is to at least acknowledge the front end customer service folks whose hands are tied."
"I can't even begin to express how terrible this company is. The individuals you deal with are normal, nice people but, there's a culture of incompetent beauraracy that has to start at the top, probably the owner of the company. Go to their website and read their "about us", there is zero information about the company, only dribble about how wonderful they are. Since day one that we hired them for our condo assn. they have failed me at every step, with their "the customer is the enemy" culture Don't even think about doing business with them."
