"The Break Away team was very helpful before and during our stay. They answered my questions before we arrived and spoke with owner to obtain additional answers and called back right away. During the stay, one screen door didn't open and although it was late in the day, a repairmen came after hours to rectify the issue. "Excellent Property Management Company! From the initial booking date all the way through we had a wonderful experience. They preemptively advised us the day before our Saturday check in there was a problem with the mini splits, however, the owner had addressed the problem with portable air conditioners. They asked us if it was okay that a repair service came to fix them on Monday. As it turned our, Monday was a wash out but again they called to advise the repair service would happen on Tuesday - and it did. The home on Silver Lake was super clean, comfortable beds and very well, beyond our expectations, equipped. The neighbors were super friendly and welcoming, especially on the shared lake beach. Our home provided one kayak, plus two paddle boards. The neighbors offered us the use of their two kayaks as well reminding us that we would each need our own life jacket and if our rented home didn’t have enough (it did) they would provide those to us. Who does that? We had a wonderful family vacation and would not hesitate to go through Break Away Travel for a Lakes rental property. Recommend Highly!"

"Rented 20 Observatory Rd Meredith NH on vacation at nearly $5k for week. The home has a number of issues such as outside railings over water are dangerous and if leaned on will result in a long fall onto rocks below, to shower that won't drain, infested inside and out with spiders and ants. There are numerous sticky notes around the home indicating a broken window crank, faulty plugs, etc. The cable TV was disconnected and bedroom TV didn't work at all. We waited two days in 90° heat for a plumber to fix the shower only for it to back up again. This home is in severe need of renovation. Don't be fooled by listing pictures. I really hope you like spiders...100's of them. We left early and lost two days of our vacation. It really is that bad. One more thing, you need to drive 6 miles to dump each day to get rid of trash which is not mentioned anywhere in the listing. Response to rental agent: The note left was not penned by me. My son's girlfriend who is sweet wrote that and in no way does it reflect my opinion. I am the one who paid a large fee, she was a gracious and thankful guest."
