"The woman who showed us the apartment... Had a hurry up and let's get this over with attitude.. They were showing it to a lot of people. And we got to see a few of not arrive and leave.. The apartment was small and overpriced."
"I love living here- it is quiet, maintenance is prompt and respectful, my neighbors are friendly, and overall it is a well maintained and peaceful place to live. I don't understand "paper thin" walls comment- I rarely if ever hear sounds from other units. The electric is through Unitil and it has central air- so regarding the electricity cost comment: once I changed my electric supplier by calling Unitil (again- this is Unitil- not the apartment place) my bill is between 177-199 a month. My bill is still through Unitil and there is no interruption to service. I work from home so I would expect some cost for electric too. Heat is gas which is very reasonable. I have a nice view of the forest from my outside deck. I've always had pleasant interactions with management and paying rent is easy with the online portal. They even helped me with turning on gas and electric before my move in. Apartments are spacious and appliances are new."
"Worst place to live!!! Above me lives a malicious old man who makes purposeful noises all the time. I've already complained to the office several times and it's getting worse, he drags and moves things all day. He is a malicious person and it seems that he is racist."
"Seems like management favors certain tenants over others. The no pet policy is a joke as I always saw people with dogs walking into their apartments. The previous tenant of my unit clearly had a cat or cats. Shotty construction, you can tell the building was quickly thrown together. All of the windows have a cold draft. The walls are paper thin and the insulation is terrible making the electric bills high for an apartment that size. Every once in a while, you get a strong sewage smell from the kitchen sinks. There are inconsistencies with their plowing policy, states that they plow at a 1/2 inch or more of snow. However, it’ll snow 2 inches one day everyone moves their cars according to the ‘plan’ and then they don’t show up to plow. Snows the next day the same amount or less and suddenly they’re plowing and towing peoples vehicles that didn’t move because they didn’t plow the last time it snowed. Also numerous times this last winter the sidewalks went untouched, which turned to ice. Like every other landlord they raise the rent by a few hundred every year without making any improvements."
"Not luxury, the buildings are poorly built and the foundation is cracking. I live on the 1st floor and the tile floor cracked was repaired and immediately cracked again. All of the jams around the doors and the shower are also cracking and none of the doors fit properly in the frames. The insulation is also terrible. The if you put your hand near a socket on an exterior facing wall, you can feel extremely cold air coming out. The electricity and gas bills are also extremely high for an apartment of that size due to poor insulation. As for the staff, they are extremely arrogant for no reason. They will try to nickel and dime you with fines for making a human mistake without warning. Even if you are polite and own up to your mistake, just want to pay the fine and be done with it. They get a snotty, rude attitude, and are just unpleasant to deal with. They will also tow your car without warning for the smallest amount of snow fall, and do not notify the residents when they will be plowing. Every other rental property I have lived at notifies the residents of when they will begin snow removal. I do not recommend this place and I am counting the days till my lease is up. I hope this review keeps someone from making the same mistake I made, and I encourage anyone who has had a similar experience to make their voice heard."
