"We ended up at BEVS when my elderly cat very suddenly lost his vision. Yes, we waited a long time and it cost much more than a regular vet, but that's the nature of an emergency service. Everyone from reception to the doctor was kind and caring, and after a week of medication, my cat regained his vision. You are truly miracle workers, and I am so grateful for what you do."
"We called ahead, we followed their rules, they examined our puppy, and then told us they're too busy. They left our puppy with hives and welts, screaming in agony from itchiness, with zero sympathy for the puppy or persons with disabilities. They knew we drove over an hour to get there. They knew another practice told us to go there for after hours emergency. They did less than nothing. Then they told us to go anywhere else in the whole state. I wish I could give 0 stars."
"Would give zero stars if able to, as the holiday season is coming up please be aware this "emergency vet" DOES NOT CARE with their new most likely multi million dollar facility and a "relaxing" salt water fish tank that has to cost hundreds of dollars a month to maintain, was forced to drive to another entire state to save my cat's life because they didn't have staff on during the holiday season. Still obviously charged me to tell me they couldn't do anything while taking away time for me to get my cat to another emergency vet for a life saving surgery. I hope nobody ever experiences the same thing, but with Christmas a few days away I feel a need to say this. If you happen to have an emergency this Christmas or any other time this place cannot help you (which I hope no one does) would highly suggest going to Deerfield, MA, they always have staff on and saved my cat's life. They might not have unneeded 2 story vaulted ceilings and salt water fish tanks, but will actually save your animal in a critical situation."
"We would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Helmick and his support team who gave our cat Patrick such wonderful care during his revision surgery in May. Patrick couldn't be happier and is like a big, overgrown, joyful kitten again! He had endured adversity for so long and is now able to be a carefree cat. We are ever grateful for the expertise of Dr. Helmick and this great outcome for Patrick!"
"The nurses and doctors at BEVS are wonderful. We had a very scary experience with our 4 year old Bernese Mountain Dog and they took amazing care of him. The doctors had some of the best "bedside manner" I've experienced and reassured us and kept us calm throughout the process. When we picked Boris up after surgery, he had to do his rounds and say goodbye to all the nurses and friends he made! Thank you for taking such good care of our sweet boy."
