"“The people at reception desk were very kind and helpful. However it does not make up for the lack of experience and knowledge that the vet and tech have. They were unable to “tame” my kind and energetic golden retriever. They were unable to help me with my pets problem and I left two appointments never knowing what the actual problem with my dog was. I was out hundreds for no results or solutions. There are limited veterinarians in the area. If you are thinking about going here as your last resort, save your money and go to Burlington.” - Tom English"
"Professional, kind, and caring! They were able to fit my pup in same day for a minor issue. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and the visit was very reasonably priced. We will be back! Thanks again for the wonderful service!"
"Professional, knowledgeable and very caring. I got an appointment right away for my girl, Jack who wasn’t feeling good. Will definitely be the place I bring all six of my dogs. An important part to mention here is how the veterinarian didn’t try to push several expensive tests. I appreciated that."
"I brought our business to Tannenberger about 5 years ago when our other vet at that time had no time to see my dog who had dislocated her jaw. Tannenberger, despite having never seen my pets, told me to bring my girl in and got her near immediate relief. My conversation with the vet about future steps and options was informative, and I did not feel pressured to take the most expensive route. Fast forward to today, and my mastiff has been acting under the weather. I called and they got us right in and were able to diagnose 2 different issues without expensive testing, with great attention and kindness to my dog, and sent us on our way with all the tools and meds to heal. Bottom line: I've been incredibly pleased with how my animals are treated and loved on, how helpful the front office staff is, and have consistently been impressed with the vets' knowledge and willingness to discuss treatments and future steps."
"As someone who works in small business and understands the potential impact of a negative review - I withheld sharing my experience with Tanneberger in hopes that maybe it really just was a “me” problem as the vet there tried to tell me. However, after hearing countless stories from my own friends & family over the last two years about their own experiences with Tanneberger, I feel compelled to share my story with others outside of my circle. Having worked/volunteered in animal rescue for the last 15+ years, I have never been treated so poorly as I was at Tanneberger. A vet is supposed to be a professional in their field, someone you can rely on to handle your animal with the utmost care & concern. This expectation was unfulfilled at Tanneberger. After several vet visits that resulted in finally scheduling a dreaded euthanasia of our 12 year old cat who had feline lymphosarcoma, we arrived at the vet after our family saying our goodbyes only to be told that the vet thought it really was more of a “me” problem with her quality of life than a “her” problem, and that we should complete more testing before following through with the euthanasia. $5k in projected test/lab fees for our cat whom I was previously told needed to be euthanized, and they had allowed me to schedule for such, only for me to arrive and be told that was no longer an acceptable plan of action. I left that day & immediately transferred all of our pets to another vet. Another vet whom confirmed our cats quality of life was very poor, and who also waited patiently for over three months for our records to be transferred from Tanneberger after four requests. Truly, it is a relief to see many others share positive experiences here. I only wish my family and many others were able to have the same experience ourselves."
