"This is a great little store. New owners bought it a little over two years ago. They have made so many changes since taking over. For example, the cashiers do NOT handle your food in the warmer anymore . The gas pumps now take credit cards and are on all night. They are constantly bringing new products into the store and also put on holiday events, back to school raffles and lots of other things. Currently they are working on adding a nice table and chair area for the customers. This store is very community orientated and always looking for ways to improve. It really is a great little store."

"I'm sure the people there are quite nice. BUT. They have little regard for safe food handling. Sorry but when the cashier is the one responsible for reaching into to warmer to retrieve food for people the food needs to be covered. Even if we weren't in a pandemic, this is common sense and common courtesy. I was there yesterday and watched the cashier reach in to grab my order of pop corn chicken which was not covered. She did not clean her hands between handling money and retrieving my food. The food was not covered and she grabbed the small container from the top, placing her unwashed hand right into the food. My eyes widening and the look on my face was not noticed so I said, I changed my mind I'll take a burger which was nothing short of disgusting for me. She put the chicken back in the warmer, once again handling the food. Seriously - WHO DO I CALL? As an addition to my original review. I visited the store once again and it was NOT for the food. I saw a different person at the cash register do the SAME EXACT THING. SERIOUSLY???? WHO DO I CALL?"

"Passing through on a mapless drive through northern Vermont. Typical convince store BUT with some local home made goodies. We got some Cabot cheese with homemade sausage, fresh baked cookies and bottled water. A nice treat for a meal on the road."
