Black Magic Chimney Sweeps

"After waiting 4 months to come to the house they called to reschedule, another 2 months, they came and didn't know what they were supposed to do, They did some work but never sealed up the top of the chimney so when it rained water ran down the inside the chimney into the basement, causing a causing a flood. They came back and partially fixed the problem. But it still leaks in a heavy rain, haven't been back since but is demanding payment. This guy Chris prefers to threaten and play telephone tag rather than fix the problem. Chris should have his license revoked they have you at there mercy because yo can't climb up on the chimney to fix the problem yourself so we will have to hire someone else to fix the problem they created. The name "Black Magic" fits them well, as that is what they are into....stay far away from Black Magic!!"

"my wife and I bought a dilapidated house in Vermont. I now very little about chimneys since I am from south Florida. I asked for a chimney inspections to see if i should demo the two fireplaces in the house or keep them. Their guys should up and used their phone to take a couple of pictures up the chimney only to say that their is no flue and it is an open cavity. They spent 30-45 minutes onsite. I received a bill for $598.00. I understand people need to make money, but i dont think this is the way."
