"Closed before 11:25 on Wednesday, December 27th. Wasn't aware of new hours. This place is my go-to when I'm on the west side. Got there to find store already buttoned-down tight. No signs of life. Feeling kinda let down. Also, I couldn't see any hours displayed to double check. I really love this place so I'm still posting 4-star rating. First time disappointment. I forgive."

"Was a regular customer. Then I walked in one day and was accused of stealing and they demanded $6 for lottery tickets that they said I took the last time I was in! In front of other customers also! I had been in a few days before and bought lottery tickets. They were training a new person and I was buying several tickets so of course there was a problem! But this is my usual order so I know what I'm supposed to be getting and how much it costs. So when they handed me the tickets and told me a price almost DOUBLE what it was supposed to be I corrected them and told them what the price was supposed to be. They rerung it and AGAIN gave me the wrong price and I again told them what it was supposed to be, this time also going through the tickets and handing back the tickets I hadn't ordered and telling them which tickets they didn't give me. This time they got it right and I paid and left. The next time I went in I was yelled at and accused of stealing $6 worth of tickets and was demanded the money of! I will never go there again! Some of the worst customer service I have ever received!!!"

"This is the closest store to our house. My son loves walking to the store to get his Italian ice and to say hi to Vader (the owners dog who hangs out behind the counter). The new owner is friendly and has done a lot to improve the store. New products, cleaning it up and fixing things. My husband even asked him to get some Prosecco in the store for me and he did :) we love what Torrence has done with the place."
