"You can not ask for a nicer owner of the property. Laila is a amazing caring person and. Very digusted with the Manager. Had to clean our room completely including washing walls and mopping floors. As a manager it is their job to keep rooms clean and also the property.I feel for the owner because it is a beautiful property and she needs the Manager to do her job."
"Room had two queen size beds that were about a foot from a credenza at the front of the room. We couldn't actually fit our suitcases inside the room and still have room to walk around. The air conditioning in the room didn't work, so we had to open the windows, which didn't do much for us in August. The carpets made our feet black because they were so dirty. NO WI-FI! Seriously? Yes. The curtains were thin and let in sunlight as well as anyone who wanted to peer through the windows. This is, quite literally, the worst hotel I have stayed at for the last twenty years. On our vacation it was 'mid-priced', which is insane for the extremely low quality of the establishment. Drive an extra 30 minutes in any direction and find something better."
"Beyond disgusted to learn about the recent treatment of a friend staying here. She and her husband had rented a room to stay in between living situations. They have two boys, one is an infant, and a dog. Her husband unexpectedly passed away a couple days ago, and while coping with this tragedy, someone at this business decided to make a big deal about her dog only after she arrived to check in, demanding extra money from her. Then, they had housekeeping remove all of the bedding from the room, including the pillows, because they didn’t “want to have to worry about dog hair.” Shame on management for allowing this behavior towards a guest, especially under these circumstances. You must be morally bankrupt."
"I’m not happy with this hotel. My sister was given emergency housing voucher because the house she was renting was condemned and prompted immediate move out. This hotel knew that my sister and her husband had a dog. My sister’s husband passed away from a heart attack the same day they were supposed to go stay at the hotel. It has been horrible experience and she is a wreck. When she finally got to the hotel they started heckling her for more money because of her dog. Then the cleaning lady just waltzed into her room without knocking or asking and took their blankets and pillows! Because they don’t want to have to worry about dog hair. They are trying to force her to move into a room without a carpet that smells terrible and doesn’t have a bed it in because it’s not used as a motel room normally. Absolutely disgusted with this hotel and how they are treating people."
"I stayed at the Bradford Motel a while ago for a few days and felt I needed to write this review to clarify some issues I noticed. First let me start by saying that The owner and management at the motel are very friendly and courteous. My room was clean and comfortable and I very much enjoyed my stay. I will definitely stay again. The issues I speak about all revolved around 3 couples who are long term renters at the motel .One night while I was sitting outside of my room, I noticed a group of people sitting outside of Room D and overheard them bad mouthing the owner, which made no sense because her and the manager are some of the nicest people ever. I discovered that the couple living in Room D were Kyle and Cassidy with their 2 kids and a dog. The older couple I observed were Kyle's parents Erin and Harold who lived on the other side of the motel and the final couple were Steven and Jennifer who lived in Room F with their 2 large dogs. These individuals seemed to think it was okay to gossip and at one point commented that if the owner gave them any grief about the state of their rooms they would call the State on her and write bad reviews.I was astonished by such negative comments and a few days later actually had an opportunity to peek into Room D. I was amazed at how filthy and smelly it was. I think the big dumpster is cleaner than that room was. How do you allow kids and pets to live in such a mess. As for Room F the stench coming from that room every time I walked by was very noticeable and i didn't even want to look at it. I frequently overhead the owner and manager speaking to these individuals to clean their space.. To make matters worse it seems that these people live off of State assistance and continuously cry poverty yet always seemed to have alcohol and cigarettes. One has to wonder based upon their behavior how many laws they are breaking. This post is in defense of the owner and manager because I know that they can not discriminate because it is a motel and that they are very diligent about enforcing the rules when they become aware of these situations. I think it is very sad to see people take advantage of such nice people and the system. 1/16/18 Since I last wrote in this review, I had the pleasure of staying at the motel again. I have stayed frequently in the last few weeks due to work commitments and have discovered that there is ongoing drama with Cassidy in room D. I happened to be there when someone was moving her stuff out of the room. I did not recognize the young man who was moving the stuff but when I spoke to him he said the manager had the day off and because the owner was very sick, he had agreed to help her. I couldn't believe the amount of things he was carrying out so took a peek in the room. I don't remember ever seeing a place that dirty. I find it hard to believe that someone would raise children in such a pigsty. The guy cleaning the room told me that there was a live animal left in a cage in the room for many days, I was surprised that it was not dead. I feel really bad for the owner that has to clean up after people who just destroy the rooms. I think it is shameful that children and pets should be exposed to such conditions."
