"We put a 2 year warranty on our generator that lasted no more than 3 months. The only thing that the “manager” was able to tell us is that because we switched a generator in the first 4 months of our 2 YEAR warranty it’s now gone. We tried asking why our 2 year warranty of $200 is just gone and his only response was “I can give you the customer service phone number I don’t know how to help you” Don’t buy the warranties for the predator products. All harbor freight is doing is taking your money for a product that’s only guaranteed to work for 3 months and not doing anything to compensate the customers needs. They will rob you. They also just decided to hang up when they didn’t feel like helping us anymore with our problem. The manager at the South Burlington Harbor Frieght doesn’t know how to work customer service- he should be terminated from his position. The counter person, who was not familiar with this type of exchange, was MORE helpful in our problem than the manager was. If I could give this store 0 stars, I wouldn’t hesitate."

"I bought gloves at this at Harbor Freight in Burlington VT and when I got home I later realized that they charged me tax on them, even though clothing is non-taxable in VT. I called the store who then gave me a customer service phone number and told me that they would be able to help get the matter addressed. The customer service person to whom I spoke told me that there is nothing that they could do and that I had to go to the store. I explained that the store is 50 miles one way and I'm not driving that far for $5.24. I then asked what HF was going to do about the fact that they are charging tax on non-taxable items, to which I was told I would have to take that up with the store. Mind you that the person at the store to whom I spoke with provided me with the customer support number and told me to call them. So basically I got the run around and nothing was done at all to remedy both the fact that I deserve a refund on tax that should have been collected and the fact that they are doing nothing to address the fact that they are collecting tax on non-taxable items. Beware!"

"I went into the store last week and saw tool chests on sale they said there was none in stock anywhere so i asked to buy the display they said the display will be for sale but only when corporate tells them they can sell it so to watch for stickers on it . i Went into the store today and saw that the tool box had open box buy stickers on it so i told the salesperson that I would take the top box . He said he couldn't sell it . I said i told last week to look for stickers and it has stickers he said I don't know who told you that i can't sell that box so he finally asked the higher up and he said if it has stickers its for sale then he told me i had to buy both boxes i said ok but they both wont fit in my car I asked them if I could pay for it and pick it up the next day they said no they can't hold items I said ok can I pay for it and have my daughter come pick it up. We live a hour away so she will be here in a hour nope can't do that either"

"Hard to find help sometimes, but they're always friendly. And when we ask for help, they're great, and we go. There quite often cause we like it. Good prices"

"Great place to shop .Great deals too .i got a cool Rambo knife here for 7 dollars .A screwdriver set for 6 dollars . if you had just bought a car .you shop here an buy a 6 dollar tool bag an fill it with everything you might need in case of emergency . lots of deals .I found this Grinder at the landfill in So Burl an I.went to Harbor freight to find out about it an they had one for 9.99 so I bought a new one . I just have to find some stuff to grind now .a better picture on grinder .an got a siphon hose for gas cans .heres the cool knife it's wicked sharp. I got cut twice on finger .be careful"
