The Vesper Woodstock

"Vesper was the perfect place to be. We stayed here for the new year and it was the best decision. It is literally a few minutes walk from the town center. It was very quiet. The room was beyond our expectation, we booked the biggest room and it did not disappoint. The owners were also so accommodating for letting us check-in earlier. The Jacuzzi was a plus and you should try it whenever you are staying here. We will definitely book again if we ever find ourselves near the area. Thank you!"

"What a great find!! So conveniently located - just off the village green in Woodstock, in a restored 1835 Greek Revival home. The prices of the rooms vary, but are VERY competitive. We ended up reserving the only room which does not have an en suite bathroom for $100/night, which includes a very tasty continental breakfast. (The bathroom for the Monk room where we stayed is just across the hallway.) The breakfast included delicious spiced oatmeal with a variety of add-ons (walnuts, chopped apples, honey, real maple syrup). Also available were hard boiled eggs, great coffee, a variety of teas, excellent bread and jams, bananas, apples, oranges, homemade pumpkin bread, Greek yogurt, granola. I peeked into a couple of the other rooms which were not currently rented and they all seem to be spacious and nicely decorated. Right now I am hanging out in the comfy shared living room space after wearing myself out XC skiing at the Woodstock Nordic Center this morning - only about a mile away. A variety of restaurants are within walking distance. And a bonus for us: There is an EV charger about a 2 minute walk away."

"My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at Vesper! Our room was warm and spacious. We loved reading by the gas fireplace after exploring the snowy woods that were a short walk from the inn. The coffee and breakfast were yummy, and it was fun talking with Dana and the other guests. The in town location is super."

"We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Vesper. The innkeeper Jessica made us feel very welcome. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Met the owner Dana while we were there and she was lovely. Located in a great location in town. We would highly recommend this place."

"This is the top place to stay that is affordable in Woodstock. The house did not disappoint. The street view had that charming New England feel. Parking in the back was perfect, driving from Boston. We had the CRUZ room and it was so cozy and perfectly decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable Breakfast in the morning was a bonus. Hot tea, coffee, fresh fruit and a delicious lemon blueberry bread was the perfect end to our stay. The owners were friendly and took the time to speak with us and thank us. Check out was simple. It was the ideal location to be in. Walking distance to everything- shopping, trails, restaurants, the covered bridge, ice cream!! We were so impressed we tried to rebook immediately. I would 100% recommend this adorable B&B and we will be back next year!!"
