Coos Motor Inn

"It's in a great location. The rooms are very clean and larger than you normally see in 2star hotels. Beds are comfortable and the furniture is well kept. Easy access to outlets/charging. Breakfast was sparse, but the coffee was good. I checked in after the office closed, but the process was still easy. This hotel is dog friendly, but there is a $50 per pet charge. The location is so ideal I didn't even complain. Two gas stations, a Dunkin, and a McDonald's are within walking distance."

"The building and room was clean and seemed well taken care of, untill I realized that the heater/AC unit in my room didn't work at all. In the early evening it was too hot in the room and at night it got too cold. Also, the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work and there was no heater in the bathroom. There were only two towels in the room for 4 guests. I had to walk down to the front desk to get more. The good news is that the front desk staff were fairly friendly and helpful. The "Continental" breakfast was sparse and disappointing. There were no eggs, yogurt, fruit or anything healthy. The orange "juice" was some artificial orange colored drink. For the price I paid, I don't think it was worth it. Maybe if it was $30 less and the heater, A/C and bathroom fan were fixed, I might stay there again."

"Great hotel . staff is very friendly, rooms are clean and you’re close to everything. Dunkin’s, supermarket, McDonald’s gas station with a convenience store all in walking distance . They have a light continental breakfast (cereal, coffee, toast English muffins. )"

"I give the Coos Motor Inn five stars for convenient location, but downgrade it for cleanliness and amenities. The double queen room was comfortable, the fridge larger than those small cubic ones usually found, and the front desk person friendly and helpful. But... We found candy crumbs on the floor of our room which weren't ours. The lamps had broken switches; one could only be turned on by plugging it in. The pillows were lumpy, the one towel bar bent. For a motel of this size, the breakfast offerings were marginal: store-bought mini-donuts, a few stale English muffins, one big tub of margarine (no butter) that everyone dips their own knife into, two squeezable containers of fruit spread, and all in a tiny room that only seats eight."

"Rooms were descent. Was nice to have a couch since I stayed there 3 weeks. If right in town within walking distance of everything. Service. They have two employees. One was great and helpful. The other was not so much. Continental breakfast is slim pickings: mini muffins, cereal, mini donuts, and coffee."
