"the kids don’t know how to shower instead of teaching us that the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell they should teach basic hygiene."
"The towns high school is easy to find by turning uphill on Oneida St from Catamount St which is also State Route 107. The high school sits atop the hill. It's mostly brick with some more recent upgrades. The parking lots are clearly designated. There is handicap parking and access. The school teaches grades 7 through 12. There are many activities for students & their families available. The school has it's own webpage where you'll find even more info."
"They are cutting some of the little sports they offer leaving only Soccer, Basketball, and Baseball. They are cutting classes such as Tech Ed and Spanish leaving us with no actual language courses which will affect our chances of getting in college (granted they have some online courses). The students here are allowed to slack off and not do any work. If they misbehave they are sent to the SSC where they are free to do whatever they want. Students purposely try to get sent out of class to go to the SSC. The teachers and students agree the school system is bull. I DO NOT recommend going to this school. I've only been here about five months and I feel like I have wasted five months of my education. I used to be a straight A student but it is harder here to get anything done because most classes are so behind because of the amount of students slacking without the teachers enforcing rules. I now receive A's and B's but still. I am thinking about transferring to another school and even a teacher agreed it would be in my best interest.."
"Kids seem to do well in this school, teachers are very willing to work with parents. Everything is done digitally and online, and most communication is done via email. This is generally a good thing, however it does have drawbacks, especially since the program they use, Powerschool, leaves alot to be desired in some areas, and is really not user friendly."
"If i could give this less than one star i would. Unqualified people are in charge and the teachers have no control over the students, it's complete chaos."
