"Beautiful store. Mine and my sister’s new haunt. Soooooo much stuff and a really nice lady works there."
"My husband, son and I were in Rutland for like 20 minutes on our Vermont trip, and stopped by this antique shop. We love secondhand and antique shops of all kinds, and my 11 year old is used to looking around for the things he collects as well. We stumbled on an unopened box of Fleer 1990 baseball cards, and my son was super excited, being a baseball card collector. My son was considering the $25 price tag, since his general net worth is about $100 at the moment, but decided to buy it anyway. That's when the owner let us know that price tag was the original 1990 price tag, and he had just bought the cards from someone and hadn't had a chance to price them appropriately yet. Understandable, and I explained to my son that it might cost a great deal more, and his face fell. The owner was on his phone, likely looking up the actual worth of the box, and then said "You know what? He can have it for $25. I like a young collector." A really wonderful human moment of generosity and kindness. I mean, maybe it wasn't worth much more than $25 anyway, but even if that's the case, who cares. My kid was thrilled and had a whole unboxing experience and now has some awesome cards and a good story about a wonderful business owner."
"Great antiquing experience! Owner was knowledgeable, friendly, and prices were reasonable. We will be back!"
"Lovely antique shop in picturesque Vt. Each room was adorned lovingly with treasure after treasure. When I called, to inquire about an item that I had seen in person, the owner answered. She was very polite, knowledgeable and helpful in that I had technology barriers. When I returned, in person, the shopkeeper was also very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely a delightful stop one should make, if in the area. I am eager to return."
