"I started taking classes at Shobu Aikido Vermont with Todd Trzaskos in 2019 and highly recommend this dojo. I have a background in Taekwondo and Shotokan karate and after experiencing a couple joint seminars in TX with Tang Soo Do and Aikido, saw the practical benefits of learning Aikido to supplement my development. Besides learning jo and bokken for the first time, I find the addition of ukemi to be very beneficial. Todd Sensei has a wonderful ability to explain techniques clearly and let you 'feel' them as both uke and nage. It is important to take a taster class in whatever dojo you may want to join -- I have tried quite a few over the years and found this one to be a good fit for me."
