"Great meal - much more than pub food- solid menu with nice specials (Red snapper, pasta carbonara, schnitzel, "real" Caesar salad, gelato as well as "pub" fare and good wine list). Attentive, family style service. Food plating/presentation was done with demonstrable care/style. Some of the best food quality I've had in the central/southern VT area. Only very minor negative is that seating area is in a large room also used for events making the atmosphere slightly less inviting and warm than the food/service deserves. Definitely worth a visit (and a return visit) Reservations recommended. ~$70 pp with drinks/apps/entree/dessert/tip/tax"

"Great place, I took my wife here for our anniversary and was expecting fine dining but it isn't that anymore. Either way it turned out great, the staff engaged with the customers and were really friendly and it was a really nice place to go for a special night out."

"Parking on premises, there's also a nice little yard and a swing that you should check out in the grounds Full bar, they server also fairly quick. The decor here is super classic and of high taste, they even have a piano that actually works in the dining room. Friendly and warm staff, they take the time to explain the food as the menu is not very convenient as it is posted on a way and you may not seat near it. I would tell u to walk in and take a pic of the menu. SPAGHETTI CARBONARA- great pasta I am glad I ordered it, al dente, creamy and rich in flavor. asked for more cheese and was told to eat first.... kind of wish I didn't have to ask for the cheese twice. The sauce and the pasta over all was pretty amazing . I also did not get a spoon to work my fork on, it is a must with spaghetti I feel. Bread basket non salted butter I appreciate a complementary basket of bread always. Need to have more napkins available, that is for sure, we had to ask for napkins a couple of times. in my opinion this place had great decor and good food, warm staff and a lot of potential, can always be better but still as is it should be an amazing experience."

"The food was very good. Casual dining experience in a nice setting. The service was lacking. Maybe because the proprietor is the one waiting on you. We were seated by the bartender, but no menus followed. When we asked about menus after our drinks were served, we were told they were on the chalk board in the bar area. So we left our table to determine our choices. The owner took our order, no one ever returned to refill our drinks. We had to get the bartender to get us refills. The food came out, delivered by another waitress but when we asked for condiments forgot to bring some of them back. When I did not leave a tip, after waiting some time for the check, which we had to hunt down, I was confronted by the owner. She came over and asked me by name if I had a problem with the service. I found this offensive and rude. I would not return based on my experience."
