"So my son had a really difficult time adjusting to first grade. I think once he was introduced to Christina it sure helped him greatly. I’ll forever be thankful she was there at school to help him when I couldn’t be there. He eventually started warming up to school, really started happening right before COVID hit, which Zoom and homeschooling brought him backwards. And he was anxious about starting back up and going to second grade last fall. But, he had a familiar face and someone who he felt comfortable with which helped ease his worries. She helped him learn some ways to help handle situations. She was a trusted adult he could turn to. He could visit with her and decompress. She was a great listener and helped with problems he may have had. She’s a great person who I know he enjoyed spending time with, even if he really stopped seeing her so often.
