"Mike in billing is a complete D-bag and should not work here. It took us almost 3 months of fighting this place over a $300 surprise bill. Which they finally admitted we were right and we don't owe anything (other than the $50 eye patches that were pressured on us). Mike's reason for us owing money? "We can charge anything as medical, even nearsightedness or farsightedness." Yes, an eye doctor can overcharge you if you're farsighted according to Mike in billing. The nurse and doctors were fine. The billing process needs work. Mike needs a new profession, because he will undoubtedly lose this place business."
"I'm criticizing the optical shop not the doctors who are great. Was all set to buy new glasses when assistant said I had to have anti-glare coating or my glasses wouldn't work and that the lenses could not be manufactured without the coating. When I got suspicious and asked why, she said "science." I said I needed to do more research and I did! She was not speaking the truth ( better commission with coating?) Do not trust this place at all now."
"Referred here by our pediatrician. Safe to say I’ll never go back. My child is completely traumatized from this appointment. The eye doctor was so impersonal, my child was not being cooperative because he was scared and only 3 years old and they held him down and had his eyes forced open with NO GLOVES. 2 weeks later, here we are with conjunctivitis in both eyes. I wasn’t prepared at all for what to expect at all as this was our first ever eye exam. I’d literally never recommend or go back to this place again and rather drive to go somewhere else. One nurse we had was kind, but the eye doctor herself didn’t elaborate on my sons diagnosis at all and barely spoke to me. Then they toss you out the door and tell you to buy $50 eye patches when they cost $11 on Amazon. Never again."
"Compassion fatigue!!! The staff (pediatric) made my wife choose which child (4mo,3 yo) she wanted to leave unattended in the waiting room, UNATTENDED while she accompanied my 6 yo to eye appointment. They then argued and chastised my wife about their "policy" and insisted they informed her of only three people in room rule. (Despite the fact that every google review sites the same issue). Facility not adequate to mandate holding children unsupervised. Compassion fatigue I'm sure they make most their money of subsidized Healthcare and feel they're entitled to act like they aren't losing anything by outdated covid protocols. I 100% guarantee this isn't policy endorsed by the doctors and facilities that refer them and I plan to make sure they known."
"Should not be pediatric. I wish i had read the reviews before hand. The front desk was rude. They are not a kid friendly establishment. If you have multiple kids seek care elsewhere. They will not tell you before hand but they will ask you to go home or leave your child unattended in their waiting room. Then try to gaslight you that they had told you before hand. Doctor is short with her words. Not friendly to the children."
