"From someone who has severe dental anxiety I wanted to take the time to thank the staff of Gentle Dental in Concord especially Dr. Muppidi who has consoled me, offered solid advice, and done incredible work over the past five years I've been a patient. Every staff member treats their job with respect and I feel known and cared for when I arrive. Dr. Muppidi is wise and knowledgeable with her approach, and offers care with the whole patient in mind. I have been to practices that push for certain outcomes but every time I've left I have felt as if I'm doing what needs to be done to care for my teeth appropriately and not being pushed into services that are not needed. Ha, Angel, Dr. Muppidi, Jesse, and the entirety of the staff -- that I continue to learn the names of --bring an energy of calm and professionalism that I appreciate. Thank you!"
"Our experience with Gentle Dental is as new patients and we are not impressed. My teen had to get their wisdom teeth removed and from start to finish there were so many issues with the appointment. They mess up the appointment which we scheduled 3 months out and had it in for a consultation, not the procedure. We already had the consultation 3 months ago. My teen was already super stressed, and we both took the day off work and school. Thankfully, Gentle Dental was able to figure things out and get the procedure done that day. Dr. Miskimen did the consultation and procedure. We found that his bedside manner needs work! We did not feel like he listened to us and he talked down to both my teen and myself. He also didn't use the Lidocaine properly to numb the areas before sticking the needle. My teen stop him and asked for it, but he told them it was a placebo and didn't do anything. Well, he didn't use it properly, so no it didn't work! At the end of the procedure, they didn't ask if my teen was ready to get up and brought them out to me to quickly. My teen ended up throwing up in the office. At the end of the work day, Gentle Dental called me not to see how the patient was, but b/c they made a mistake in the payment and didn't run my CC properly. Ugh! I feel like we should have at least gotten an extra courtesy discount or something! This was a very expensive procedure! Overall, I would find someone else to do oral surgery if you need it."
"I had a great visit and was met with professionalism, non-judgment, compassion and understanding from everyone I encountered. They took the time to explain everything to both my husband and I and expressed a desire to work within my financial constraints. Everything from the moment I walked into this office made me feel at ease and I would recommend anyone to see these dentist."
"For me, there were four bouts of injections and waiting minutes between each. The pain of the injections were obviously extremely painful from the obvious and uncontrollable shivering and tears. I was contemplating leaving but figured the numbness just had start working. I endured more pain, just about unbearable. They finally had to do a different specific bout of injections, which again I was feeling every one up until the fourth injection. I know my body and mind were at the finality of enduring the pain. I have to mention here that there was not one single word or touch to the shoulder reassuring me or offering words of comfort by the dentist, or more importantly the assistant. I will never let that specific Dr or assistant any where near me or any family or friends that consider going there. Let me mention that the infection is obviously still raging and after the third call to the office, nobody has had the professional decency to get back to me!!!"
"I had a terrible experience with the front desk staff. One lady in particular. What could have been treated like a misunderstanding was not. I was treated with disrespect and was told a conversation over the phone I had never happened because they never discuss that over the phone only in person. So I felt that I was accused of being a liar. Only got x-rays not cleaning or anything else. And I called and canceled my appointment. Going to find another denist. The way I felt after, no business should make you feel this way. I was respectful but no way did I get that in return."
