"I saw Dr. Jeanne Johnson for the first time and had a wonderful experience! She is thorough and validated all my concerns. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking GYN care."
"I'm going to re-rate this 4 ☆ from 1 because there are many people working this location and while I didn't quite like the experience with one of the people working here everyone else has been quite helpful and pleasant. Alison Stewart is amazing you will be lucky if you get her."
"Based on reading the reviews, I probably shouldn’t have bothered. I thought Dartmouth had a great reputation and was glad to make an appointment there. When I called, the first time, I spoke with Rachel who was helpful, but asked me to call back the next day to allow time for the referral to come through. I called again a couple days later, and I was told the referral hadn’t come through. But, then she found it… or maybe not… maybe she just found the results from my imaging. After explaining that I was genuinely worried for my health, I was met with several reasons why I couldn’t make an appointment. Karen was not helpful. When I expressed worry for my health and was having pain, I was essentially told that the problem was not big enough for them to consider making a sooner appointment before January. Karen belittled me and was not clear about what the issue was. She was relaying information from their “head nurse.” I’m not sure if this doctor’s office just doesn’t want new patients, or if Karen was just too busy to show compassion. I have a background in human services and education, and have a lot of experience in advocating for both adults and children in a healthcare setting, I have never had to argue with a receptionist if it was bad enough to see a doctor. I am so sad and disappointed, as Dartmouth in general has a great reputation. TLDR: Just, don’t. Drive a little further south to Bedford Commons OBGYN… or probably anywhere but here. I was just hoping to find care a bit closer. T"
"Beware of all lab testing paperwork and make sure to read it thoroughly, lab work that could cost a couple hundred dollars for name brand testing is passed over for DHs own tests that they will bill you thousands for. When trying to get in contact with a manager for DH it is impossible, they bounce you between a third party billing company who can’t do anything."
"I went to this office through four pregnancies which all ended in loss. First in August of 2020 and these last three June-September. After having three miscarriages within the span of four months they clearly got aggravated after the one in June. In July and September, their treatment way beyond horrible. They refused to confirm the pregnancies after the loss in June and said my at home testing was good enough, did no blood panels after requesting due to previous losses and being high risk, they said they only would test when I started bleeding again. I asked how I would track the progress of my pregnancy if I have no starting point with HCG level, she said that I need to test myself and watch the test line get darker myself. AFTER MULTIPLE MISCARRIAGES. In September I got so stressed out after leaving my appointment and realizing I wouldn’t be receiving any assistance that I started bleeding from stress in the parking lot after leaving my appointment. I switched obgyns and couldnt be happier with my new doctor. She told me all the tests that Dartmouth should have done after my losses and getting pregnant again(which was a list of blood panels that Dartmouth refused to do, Dartmouth wouldn’t even confirm pregnancy with a HCG level or pee test) This department didn’t used to be this bad, but I was abandoned, abused, and treated horribly by the office on repeat occasion. Then made to look bad once I spoke up and said what they were doing was malpractice and morally wrong to do to someone who’s dealt with multiple losses. I don’t suggest this office to anyone."
