Elliot Urgent Care at River's Edge

"I came into this facility after slicing open the side of my ankle from a fall, about three months prior to writing this review. This facility handled my situation and injury impeccably. Someone looked at it in the lobby almost immediately after I registered, just to make sure I wasn't going to have to go to the ER. From the time I went into the room to take vitals and for further assessment, the staff was amazing. The staff was so attentive, and had great communication with one another. That cohesiveness among the staff was what impressed me the most, but I also felt when I left 18 stitches later that they really took care of me. Rarely have I gotten that feeling leaving a medical facility, an urgent care especially. The woman who did my stitches was amazing. Overall, the patient / caregiver and staff to staff communication is some of the best I've ever witnessed and partaken in. Thank you Elliott for putting care back into caregiving! *One note to anyone considering services, they have an online check-in process that will greatly decrease your time in the waiting room among potentially sick and agitated peers. I did this for my follow-up suture removal."

"Let me start off by saying I was in pain for about 30 days. My regular doctor couldn’t see me til late march. It’s currently feb 2. The doctors, nurses and rest of staff were caring and showed compassion for me while I sat in pain getting evaulated. They continued their tests and prescribed medications for me when I really needed them. I am no longer in pain and can function back to normal. Thank you to every one at Elliot urgent care. This visit is exactly what I needed and will return next time an urgent care visit is needed! Thank you to everyone there!"

"This urgent care is the very best. From the young lady that checked me in,nurses,ex ray tech an the doctor. They gave me the very best care and attention from the moment I walked in. "They charge you 2 fees just for walking in the door: a doctor's fee and a facility fee. This is not disclosed. Be prepared for additional fees. My daughter was the victim of a hit and run driver. The doctor didn't give her anything for pain the first time we went. We had to go back again because she was in severe pain and our primary care office was closed. I had to beg for a muscle relaxer for severe facial cramping. Not only are they not transparent with their billing, but also I was not happy with the level of care my child received. I will never use this facility again. I should have driven to a hospital in MA. Just an update - I read an article that said that Catholic Medical Center Urgent Care doesn't charge a facility fee."

"They do an impeccable job at this facility! The online booking and check in process ahead of time are both so easy and quick, and the woman I dealt with in the waiting room, Beth, was very nice! I wasn't a huge fan of my LNA, Angel, once I got in, as she had no warmth to her and just started barking questions at me when I was being swabbed. But everyone else was great and they filled a prescription for me promptly as well! Overall I would recommend Elliot Urgent Care to friends and family."
