"First couple people in the door, and it took nearly 40m from order to get food, and that was only after our server noticed we didn't have our food. Same thing when dessert was ordered. Took about 15m for that. Had coffee that was gone by the time dessert arrived, and no coffee refill was offered. Food and desserts were VERY good, but worth the wait."

"The south side steakhouse has a recipe for success. Their food is made from the freshest ingredients, simple preparations flawlessly executed. Add to this an extraordinary attention to detail and you have an unbeatable dining experience. This also applies to the service which has been absolutely spectacular. Another thing that always surprises me is that this restaurant is extremely popular and yet we have never had to wait for a table. This is without question our new favorite restaurant."

"During a recent visit to Rutland, Vermont, I dined at the Southside Steakhouse and it was simply outstanding. I opted for the prime hanger steak, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. I enjoyed it immensely since it was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. My visit was also highlighted by excellent service. Whenever a question or request arose, the staff was prompt and attentive. Their friendly and helpful attitude added to the overall positive experience. I did, however, find the atmosphere a bit disappointing. I appreciated the cozy ambiance, but it was a bit too dark for my taste. When dining out, I prefer a brighter setting, but this is purely a personal preference and didn't overshadow the great meal and service. The Southside Steakhouse delivered a memorable dining experience with outstanding food and attentive service."

"Was on a road trip and looked at few places and thos place was highly recommended, so I decided to stop by. Staff was really nice. No waiting. Food was fantastic! Little more fancier side of place, but was overall great! I'd stop again if I make a trip that way."
