"When I entered the facility, I noticed there are birds in the office. Animals in a human medical facility? This was a big concern as bird droppings are known to cause Histoplasmosis and one of the birds seemed to have diarrhea or something by the amount of feces every where. Needless to say I left in a hurry and won't be back."

"I was a patient of Dr. Keady’s for 13 years and I have known her for 16 years. In the beginning she listened. For the past 5 years, I have had problems with my legs. I was put under the fibromyalgia umbrella. I was on various medications in high doses for years. They never worked. In the last 2 years, my legs increasingly got worse. Recently to the point where I could barely walk. She told me to take an ambulance to the ER. I did. The ER doctor came at me immediately with that they are not going to prescribe any kind of narcotics. Mind you, I didn’t ask for anything. I told him I was looking for answers as to what is going on with my legs so we could fix it. I was scared! He paid 0 attention to that. Long story short, he told me he was friends with Dr. Keady and would send her a text and ask her what he should do for me. She told him to give me a shot. He didn’t do ANY kind of exam. Said my vitals are fine and to go home. I will now have a huge bill to pay. She told me that she sent me there to make sure “nothing serious was wrong”. Well… he didn’t do anything so we don’t know. For years I have been complaining about lower back pain and mentioning maybe to get x-rays. Nothing was done. No imaging. In the meantime, I was in her office and she did NOT ask me if 3 other people could be present and perform completely unnecessary procedures on me. Despite my loud expression that they were causing me pain while I was pulling away, no one said a word OR stopped! That was a terrifying and traumatic experience which created more problems for me. I fired her. I went to urgent care at VRH, they did an x-ray and guess what? They found out what the problem was! I was seen by an NP and was put on the right medications that relieved the pain so I can now walk and I will be seeing a specialist to continue to work on healing my back and legs. I have a new provider that listens to me and works WITH me. She doesn’t prescribe unnecessary medications or do unnecessary procedures! She doesn’t guess or assume. I’m able to actually advocate for myself and she asks my permission! I’m very disappointed in KFP. But I am glad I moved on. I will never recommend anyone to go to KFP for medical treatment. There is a lot more I could add from over the years with her professional conduct and that of her husband and staff, but I will leave it at this as a warning to others looking for a PCP. Do your research before making that decision."
