"If you’re staying at Smuggs, this is by far one of your best options anywhere in the area for a nicer, higher-end meal, by I would go as far to say this place is worth the drive even from Stowe - The Family Table is just as good, if not better, than most restaurants on that side of the Notch! Jeffersonville has a hidden gem, and you’d never expect it driving past the restaurant. They have an excellent selection of pizzas (red and white sauce), pastas (which can all be made gluten-free), cuts of meat (chicken, pork, lamb, steak, etc.), New American-style small plates, seafood, soups, salads, and SO MUCH more! They have something for every type of palette, and this is why it’s called “The Family Table” - you can bring your family here and everyone will leave satisfied. We particularly loved the dry-aged grilled ribeye, maple pork chop, fried calamari, blackened shrimp, and lobster tiger rolls. I don’t even like pork chops very much because they’re normally very bland and dry (and just don’t taste that great), but I would willingly order that maple pork chop almost every time I come here - it’s THAT good. They have a really nice selection of small plates, so be sure to get a few and share with your table. And, you gotta get at least one pizza! Scrofae Pepe e Ciplolla, Tre Porcellini, Vermonter…you really can’t go wrong. If you have room, they supposedly have incredible desserts - we have family friends who have been here many times and always talk very highly of their desserts. I would imagine they would be VERY good. So check this place out next time you’re in this area of Vermont because you’ll not be disappointed!!"
"We visit the Stowe/Jeffersonville area once a year and try to eat somewhere different every night. We loved this place so much we went twice. The food is amazing and the service was as well. I know it’s not easy fitting a party of ten, especially with kids involved, but they made it happen both times for us. We look forward to going back now and this restaurant will be a staple when we’re in the area from now on. The servers were very attentive and kind. PS, the blackened chicken over rigatoni was one of the best things I’ve eaten. Thank you for great food and a great experience."
"We stayed in the area for a week and ate there three times. Food is phenomenal. The chef does an outstanding job. We enjoyed the specials and regular menu items. Jordan was our waitress twice and took very good care of us. I highly recommend this place. Fine dining in a casual atmosphere. Can't go wrong!"
"We vacationed in Jeffersonville in Vermont at Smugglers Notch for a week and went to this restaurant three times. It was approximately 10 minutes away. We probably would have gone more, if they had been open every day of the week. We loved the variety and different specials every night. Great portions. Great flavors. We felt like we were fine dining in a very casual atmosphere. The atmosphere was very casual and clean. These are the dishes we had. Reservations definitely recommended. Chicken Marcella; small arugula salad which was way more than I expected; Butternut Squash ravioli; pizza; Caesar salad; Hanger steak; Pork chops; Lamb chops; and tiger rolls for apps and their bread. Every meal was very good. We left satisfied. It helped also, that we had a very pleasant and efficient waitress named Jordan."
"At last! The Family able has reopened after a glorious renovation, and it’s sleek and modern inside. Come enjoy their brand new menu, and new wood fired pizza oven…delicious! My dining companion and I opted to sit at the beautiful bar, and share a few menu items. We started with appetizers of crab cakes and calamari. The crab cakes (2) were large, perfectly breaded, tender, and full of crab. Absolutely delicious! The calamari was so tender, lightly breaded, and accompanied by a zingy sauce. For our main course, and first visit, we had to have the wood fired pizza. Oh my, was it perfection on a plate! Large enough to serve two to three people, we chose the Tre Porcellini - meat lovers unite! The crust was crunchy and tender - not too thick or too thin. The Pizza Master does not skimp on toppings either! Clearly, great care is given to each pizza order. There are many pizza options to satisfy everyone’s tastes. We also ordered the Cesar salad which was perfectly dressed, and definitely a shareable size. Absolutely delicious salad. Everyone we spoke with at The Family Table were so friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared for the guests and the restaurant. Be sure to stop by soon, have a cocktail, and enjoy delicious food! You will be glad you did!"
